FROWNING, Alexie approached her table. She just arrived in her office in Sweet Surrender.
She inspected the bouquet of flowers atop her desk. She smiled without difficulty when she read the card.

After their first dinner date Aura has been showing her her sincerity to be with her. They often see each other in the café when Aura ordered for her daily dose of Sweet Surrender goodness. Aura's words.
She sent Aura a brief message to thank her of the flowers. She also asked her to have dinner in her place.
She continued working, more energized. Indeed, her day just started being fine.
Alexie just finished the last touch on the table when she heard a knock in the front door.
She yelled 'come in' and a moment later Aura is with her in the kitchen.
"I could come home to this."
When she looked up, Aura is smiling at her. She smiled back and motioned her to come over.
"I hope you're hungry."
"Famished."
"Have a seat." She pulled a chair for her before she sat down. "How was your day?"
"Now, you're sounding like a wife, Mrs. De Vos."
She giggled. "In the future."
"What?" Aura's spoon is in the air. She is about to eat her salad.
She just smiled and started eating. She looked at Aura when she was not able to hear the rattle of spoon on her side.
Aura is gawking at her. "What, De Vos?
"A-are we, I mean, you know?"
"You're not coherent, Aura."
"Should I ask now?"
She shrugged. She made another bite. Aura groaned and put her spoon down.
She stood and went to her side. She kneeled and holds her hand.
"Alexie Cruz, be my girlfriend."
"That is not a question, De Vos."
She pouted. "I will not ask you, babe."
"Try me."
Aura placed her forehead in their clasp hands. She took a deep breath then groan again.
"Babe?"
"Yes?"
She whined then put her palm in her face. She looked at her in the eyes. Her beautiful hazel eyes are seducing her.
Alexie grabbed Aura's face and kiss her full on the mouth. She's too slow. Taken aback, the taller girl kissed her back.
"I love you, Mrs. De Vos." She whispered after the heated kiss.
"I love you, too, slowpoke."
Aura giggled before encircling her arms around her. She showered her face with kiss.
