The Revere flies over the ocean heading straight for the Blues and Reds base.
"Coming up on the island." Dylan announces.
"How are we going to know if they're here?" Simmons asks.
"I got a feeling they'll see us before we see them-" Dylan was cut off by the ship's alarm. "Yep. There's our answer. Someone just locked missiles."
"Shields up! Go to red alert!" Jax says like Captain Picard.
"What does this hawk have in the way of countermeasures?" Sarge says as he and Reds and Blues strap themselves in.
"Well, if they shoot, we can counter by exploding. That's about it." Dylan explains.
"Yeah, let's make that plan B." Simmons advises.
"Our autopilot is worse than useless against guided missiles. I-I don't suppose any of you moonlight as combat pilots?"
Grif unbuckled himself and takes the controls. "Oh! I crashed a ship once-uhh, it was technically a tactical crash."
"Yeah, I think I prefer plan B." Tucker admits, gripping onto his seat.
Two missiles are fired from the base and head straight towards.
"Incoming! Twelve o'clock. Grif!" Dylan insists.
"Just a minute! I still haven't figured out how to invert the controller scheme."
The ship dives as the missiles fly above it.
"Whoo! That was on purpose!" Grif says.
A barrage of missiles are fired from the base.
"Oh, heck." Dylan mutters. The ship does a barrel roll to evade two missiles and flies above two more, but another warhead hits it straight on. Inside the ship, sparkles fly. Outside, it's a big blast and the ship is falling as Surge, Temple, and Shadow watch from the island.
"Direct hit, sir. She's going down." Surge relays.
"Thanks. I noticed." Temple retorts sarcastically.
"I still think we should have eliminated-"
"Enough! Looks like you'll get your wish after all." Temple snaps.
The ship then crashes on the ocean.
"Shall I lead the greeting party?" Surge says loading his railgun.
"We've got more important things to do. Have Lorenzo and Cronut roll out the red carpet while we secure the facility." Temple turns to Shadow. "Shadow, you know what to do."
Shadow nods and heads inside the base.
"Uh, permission to speak freely, sir?" Surge asks.
"Nah." Temple says walking inside the base.
"Alright, then." Surge walks to the edge and addresses Cronut, Lorenzo, and several other Grunts. "You heard the man, men! Let's show our guests some hospitality!"
On the beach, the Reds and Blues and Dylan and Jax, stare at the wreckage.
"Okay, I know I sound like a broken record. But you definitely should have been-"
"Would you shut up about the leaf on the wind crap?!" Grif shouts at Jax. "I got us out alive, you're freaking welcome."
"The Revere's totaled." Dylan states. "The comm array is still functioning, but not for long. That's gonna cost someone an arm and a leg."
