"So when is the wedding?" Cally asked as we lounged by the small pool.

"I'm surprised you don't know." I answered in a bored tone.

"I don't. Avery tells me nothing. He isn't the kind of brother that dotes on his baby sister."

I pouted. I've noticed. "Cally. I think he is more disappointed than anything else." I tried softly.

"I know. That's why I'm still here. I screwed up the business deal. That man I was caught with, he wasn't the client."

I sat up on my elbows as I looked at her. "Than who was?"

"His wife."

I groaned at her.

"Avery told me dad lost the support and eighty million dollars. I feel so bad. I've never really been so, bold or defiant."

"You need an outage. Something for you to let out your frustrations. Or maybe a someone." I grinned as Cally was the one blushing. "Here, put some sunscreen on my back." I gave her the bottle and sat up.

"I just did this fifteen minutes ago."

"But unlike you, the sun doesn't kiss my skin, it immediately throttles all its energy for an angry burn." I felt Cally's hands rub the lotion over my back as I did my arms.

"That's not true. I might burn yet. It's a coin toss, really." Cally informed me. "So, the wedding?"

I sighed. "Avery wants it on the weekend."

Cally jumped up. "This weekend? Why aren't you going all bridezilla?"

I laughed at her as she imitated a zombie. "Weddings don't fancy me. I told Avery to take care of it and he is." I shrugged as I closed my eyes, laying back down.

"You let Avery take over? Oh God. It's gonna feel like a business dinner."

I giggled. "Don't be so harsh on him." Lord knows I am. "He is trying. I'm making sure he is. I'm not concerned about the wedding. All I have to do is show up and I like that idea."

Cally was exactly happy with that idea. "How about a girls night out?"

I still had my eyes closed but I managed to roll them. "Maybe." I wouldn't mind it to be honest and anything to get out off this dreary place.

"Maybe? Please. You'll be going!" Cally told me before lowering her voice. "Even if we have to do some day drinking behind Avery's back."

I smiled widely at the thought. Anything to piss him off. "Okay. I'm in. Day drinking."

"Don't tell Avery." Cally said.

"Don't tell Avery." I repeated.

"Don't tell Avery what?" Came the voice, making myself and Cally jump.

"Can't tell Bash either." I laughed as I sat up.

"No. We can't tell Bash. It's a girl thing." Cally giggled.

I placed some more sunscreen on to my stomach.

"You girls are no fun." Bash grinned before running and bomb diving into the pool, making water splash over me and Cally.

We screamed at him as we stood up and ran away before Sebastian could splash any more water on us.

"I know you said you wanted nothing to do with the wedding, but you need a dress!" Cally argued with me as she pulled me in to the store.

"Fine." I pointed to the first one I saw. "That one will do. Let's go."
