Chapter IV: How'd you get here?

While walking:
Shelly- "So, where you from?"

Tim- "Lexington, Kentucky. How 'bout you?"

Shelly- "Great Falls."

Tim- "That's far."

Shelly- "Yeah. My dad's from Rio. And my mom is from Montana."

Tim- "Wow, My mom is from Mexico. I've always wanted to visit Rio."

Shelly- "You should go. It's nice there, been there about a thousand times... So, how'd you get stranded in the big Apple?"

Tim- " Long story really, I was at the airport this afternoon, leaving back home to Kentucky. I was barely walking in the plane because my family was already seated. They told me the plane was full and wouldn't let me in. My dad tried to come with me but stupid ass security wouldn't let him leave the plane because it was already gonna leave. Am I talking to much? Sorry if I cussed by the way?"

Shelly- "... I've been listening. I can deal with profanity. Keep going."

Tim- "Ok... Anyway, then I got mad at the employees and told them to let my dad stay with me. But then they kicked me out of the building and left me stranded alone... In New York."

Shelly- "Did you have luggage?"

Tim- "I did. It was in the plane."

Shelly- "Did you ask for it?"

Tim- "......No. I forgot all about it. So that's my fault right there."

Shelly- "Mmmmm. That's sad."

Tim- "So, how about you?"

Shelly- "Umm... Let's find a place to sit and I'll explain. I don't feel comfortable walking here."

Tim- "How about we go to Central Park, heard its quiet there."

*Walk to Central Park*

As they were sitting at a bench in Central Park, Shelly tells Tim about how she ended up stranded.

Tim- "Wow. That really sucks for you."

Shelly- "Yeah, I know."

Tim- "Well, do you at least know where your dad lives?"

Shelly- "I had his address in my suitcase. But I didn't memorize it. Yeah that part is my fault."

They both stay quiet for a few seconds. Until:
Shelly- "Hey, we can work together."

Tim- "Yeah... We should."

Shelly- "But if we are, we need to know if we can trust each other."

Tim- "Shelly, you can trust me. I'm super trustworthy. I can promise you that. Can I trust you?"

Shelly- "I'm also trustworthy Tim. You can 100% trust me. Let's make a deal. You help me find my dad and I'll help you get back home to your family."

Tim- "And how can I get back home?"

Shelly- "I heard my dad has a well paying job. He should have the money to get you a plane ticket, but we need to find him first... Deal?"
