A new life, A new me (Slowly Returning)

Count on me

Normal POV
After the pink hedgehog sang her heart off, she fell to the ground with tears in her eyes.

"Oh... Sonikku, why?" "W...why?", she sobs quietly as a shadowy figure came into view.

"What are you doing out here, Rose?"

"Huh?", she asked turning around to see a red and black hedgehog facing her.

"S..shadow?", she says with her voice breaking.

"Did something happen?", he asks with concern.

She quickly shook her head violently. She didn't want to say anything to provoke him to find the one responsible for her pain.

Shadow looked at her, not convinced that she was okay. "Amy, tell me."

He tucked her hair behind her ear and was close to her face. "I can't, Shadow. I just can't."

"Does your sadness have to do with that faker." He asks.

Amy nods her head and sobs into his chest. " I.. I d..dressed myself for this occasion . But, then...  H..he..."

Shadow couldn't bare to see her into this state, so he said, "A beautiful rose like you shouldn't waste your tears on someone that isn't worth it. That blue faker doesn't know even know what true beauty is. Even if it still hits him in the face, he doesn't know that you are beautiful inside and out. You are a wonderful and intelligent person. Don't tell yourself otherwise. So many people care about you and I do too. I will always be there whenever you need a shoulder to cry on. I will always be there to listen to you, when you have bad days like these. Whatever it is, you can count on me."

She hugged him tightly as she continued to sob into his chest. "But, Shad...dow."

"But nothing.", he said wiping her tears. "I don't want you to be upset, so smile."

She smiled sadly and said, "I'm glad that I have a friend like you."

He froze a bit and repeated those words in his mind, "Yeah... a friend like me." He had a frown on his face and looked at the ground.

A moment of silence happened between them until, he spoke up. 

"Do you want me to take you home?", he asks.

"No... I would rather stay here in the rain.", she said.

"But, you might get even more wet.", he said.

"I don't care...", she sighs. "Besides, I don't want to see anyone."

He smiled mischievously. "Well, fine if you won't come with me. Then I'll take you by force!", he yelled lifting her in his arms in a jolt.

"Hey! What do think you are doing?!", she screams.

"I'm taking you with me...", he said in a cocky like attitude.

"Why?! Let me go!", she yells kicking her legs.

"No, not until you are happy again!", he yells playfully.

"Shadow, let me go right now, or you'll never be able to walk and talk the same way ever again!!", she screams.

"Nope, you being happy is my top priority.", he said.

"Let me go!!"

"No..."

"I don't want to see anyone right now! Leave me alone!", she yells.

"Nope...", he said.

"Let me go...", she whined.

"No...", he said.

"Please?!", she said begging.

"No.", he sighed.

This kept going on to the point that he decided to ignore her and started walk outside of the park with her in his arms.

Then, Amy made a pouty face and mumbled, " Fine.", underneath her breath.

"Feel, better now miss pouty face.", he said with smug look on his face.

She rolled her eyes. "Where are you taking me?," she sighs annoyed.

"That is for me to know and for you to find out.", he said.

She groaned and rolled her eyes again. At this point, she didn't care about what was happening. The only thing that she wanted to do was escape from the nightmare.
