Chapter 5: The truth about Henry Sturges

*At Henry Sturges's Mansion in Illinois the next morning*
~Sophia Smith's POV~

Sophia's nightgown:

I woke up the next morning and I felt light headed I was in a bed that wasn't my own it belonged to Henry. Then I remembered that it was late and I had told Annabelle that it's late and that Mr. Sturges's offered his place to me for the night and that I'll see her tomorrow morning. As I got up and get dressed into my new dress behind a screen so Henry can't see me change.
He walked into the room sitting on the bed sighing.
~Henry Sturges's POV~

I sat down on my bed while Sophia was just like my wife Eliza smart, beautiful, clever, witty, kind, and my life. But I failed to protect Eliza I won't fail to protect Sophia even if it means to risk my life for hers but I won't let her get hurt in any vampire matters other than she, Annabelle, and Abe kill Jack Bart's. I'm also thirsty I haven't had blood since yesterday I need some now then I feel her hand on mine and she said"Henry I know your hungry it's alright drink from me just don't spill too much," then I looked at her with concern and worry in my eyes.
~Sophia Smith's POV~

I watched as he sat on the bed deep in thought we both care for one another. Plus I know he's a vampire he did very good in hiding that fact from myself, Abe, and Annabelle I love him and I will help kill every vampire that made him into this monster by force. I could tell that he was thirsty he hasn't had blood since yesterday he needs some now then I place my hand on his and said"Henry I know your hungry it's alright drink from me just don't spill too much," then he looked at me with concern and worry in his eyes. I moved my right wrist to Henry's mouth he held it in place so Henry could drink from it, I could see his veins spreading he's thirsty then he bit into my wrist.

*Meanwhile at the Todd's Household that morning with Annabelle and Mary*
~Annabelle Smith's POV~

After I got ready for the day I found another letter from my sister on my vanity table I sat at my vanity and opened her letter up I was surprised at what she had written about to me. It went like this.
My dearest sister,
I'm sure you and Mary are probably worried about me because I haven't come home last night but I am fine I promise you both. It was late and I fell asleep at my lover's house here in Springfield he offered that I stay here for the night since it's late and theirs crazy people out late, so of course I agreed to stay the night but I promise that I will be back by lunchtime Annabelle then the 3 of us can spend time together.
But I'm alright sister dearest believe me I am just fine I promise you'll see me at lunch and maybe you can meet Henry whilst I talk with Mary on what she thought of Abe Lincoln our dearest friend from childhood. Also I have to tell you something that I think you should know when Henry and I arrive but you must promise me swear to me that you will not tell anyone.

Oh she's already found her lover how nice I think it's time I meet this Henry while I folded this letter and put in my letter box I carry with me. Before going downstairs to see Mary sowing a pattern for a handkerchief since her old one was ruined by the rain and mud.
