SongKeYan's arrival was delayed a few weeks so the Emperor had time to heal. YuLong was there every day. By then, all of the Emperor's wounds had healed, and he was back in good health.
"He's alive, thanks to you." A woman approached YuLong, with a blank expression.
YuLong furrowed her brow, the woman seemed like one of the concubines, but not as bitter as Concubines Meng, Yao and Zhang.
"Concubine Wu?"
Concubine Wu nodded, "You are indeed clever Empress Xue."
YuLong wasn't so sure of the concubine's sincerity, "I suppose you're going to tell me how you were supposed to be the one beside him all that time?"
Concubine Wu smiled, "No, I don't find the Emperor of much interest."
YuLong was confused, "Why not?"
The concubine blushed, "Because, I have already fallen for someone else."
YuLong's eyes widened, "Who?"
Concubine Wu's expression grew serious, "Just...someone." she furrowed her brow, "Aren't you supposed to be busy?"
"For what?"
"For SongKeYan's arrival."
YuLong was caught by surprise, she'd forgotten about the welcoming! "Oh...well I'd better be going. I hope we can talk some other time."
Concubine Wu smiled, "And I you. You seem different from the other court ladies Empress Xue."
YuLong smiled, "YuLong is fine."

Liu'er and YuLong finished up hiring the decorators and dancers. All they needed was to buy the wine. And a few of the smaller things.
Before they knew it, it was already evening.
"I hope this is enough." Liu'er sighed,
YuLong put her hand on Liu'ers shoulder, "It is."
The dancers were the finest in all of China, with decorators famed in all five continents.
"YuLong." A deep male voice called out for her. YuLong turned to find LongJun at his chamber window, beckoning for her to come.
Liu'er smirked, "You had better go to your husband."
YuLong sighed, "Are you sure you can manage?"
Liu'er nodded.
YuLong ran to LongJun's chambers. Down corridors and hallways.
As LongJun opened the door, YuLong smiled. "You wanted to see me?"
LongJun embraced her tightly, burying himself in her scent. "I haven't seen you all day."
YuLong chuckled, "I was busy too."
"Too busy for me?" He pouted,
She shook her head, then she remembered, YiHong. "LongJun, I saw who attacked you. He came again when you were healing, I'm sorry, I just remembered."
"Who?"
"My brother."
LongJun furrowed his brow, "But YiFeng is too young and YiCheng is too loyal."
"I was talking about YiHong."
He shook his head, "YiHong died."
"But-"
"Sh." He kissed her, "Let's not worry about this just yet."
She nodded and smiled.
LongJun planted a passionate kiss on YuLong's mouth, enough to make her want more. His mouth trailed to her neck, he abruptly stopped.
"Why did you stop?"
"I love you so much YuLong." LongJun looked seriously into her eyes, "And I want you. But I don't want to force you into anything you don't want to do."
"Trust me." YuLong smiled, "I want this."
LongJun's eyes filled with lust, as YuLong undid her hair, letting it fall to her waist. LongJun carried her to his bed and laid her down, taking off his own clothes, he looked at YuLong's body hungrily.
"You're beautiful, my Empress." He whispered huskily.
The rest is a scene every love story knew well.
