Taehyung's P.O.V.

I smiled as I hugged my mom. She took a deep sigh and snuggled her face into my shoulder. I looked over at my dad and saw him smile at me warmly.

I grabbed onto my dad's sleeve and pulled him into the hug, he didn't complain. We stayed in that hug for a couple of minutes before pulling away. My mom looked into my eyes with those soft brown ones of her's.

"We're gonna miss you so much, Taehyung. And of course we'll miss the others, too." she said with her soft voice as she caressed my cheek.

My dad patted my shoulder and squeezed it lightly. "We'll be back in five years, but we'll be willing to shorten it if you need help from us or if he wakes up."

"Don't hesitate to call us! Oh boy, I'm gonna miss you!" Mom cried and kissed me all over the face. I chuckled and gently pulled her away.

"I'll be fine mom. And I'll make sure to call you guys if he does wake up." I said firmly. My parent's smile widened a little.

"I'm so glad you have those friend of yours. Tell them that if they need anything from us, we'll come straight here as well, okay?" Dad said. I nodded.

"Remember to call us at least two times a month!" Mom instructed. I chuckled.

"Of course mom." I responded.

"Remember to keep your hopes high for Jeongguk." Dad reminded me.

"Of course. Hobi and Jimin always remind me to." I responded. My dad nodded.

"Don't forget, we love you, Taehyung!" Mom said and launched herself into my arms, my dad following.

"Of course I won't forget! I love you guys, too. I'll miss you." I wrapped my arms around the both of them.

"We'll miss you, too. We have to go now, to catch our flight and all. Take care, Taehyung." Dad said.

"Have a safe flight." I replied, feeling the urge to cry occupy my throat.

"Thanks." Mom smiled, tears welling up in her eyes. They both walked out of my house towards their already packed car.

They got into the car, buckling their seat belts. They both looked out the window and waved at me, smiles and tears cascading down their faces. I silently cried as well, waving to them as I stood on the empty drive way.

The car drove off, and I stood and watched. I kept on waving until they were no longer in sight. I let out a sob and covered my mouth.

I walked back into the metaphorically empty house, even if I lived alone to begin with... well. Alone after he crashed...

I quickly walked over into the living room, trying to find my phone. After finding it, I quickly dialed Jimin's phone number. Jimin immediately picked up.

"Hey Tae. Did you parents leave yet?" he asked, pure curiosity lacing around his words.

"Yeah." I said, trying to suppress my sob, but Jimin noticed.

"It's okay Tae, it's only a business trip. They'll come back." he said comfortably with that soothing voice of his.

"But they're not coming back in five years... I already l-lost one person who's the most important to me. And now I-I'm gonna be separated by t-two people who are also most important to me." I cried, falling apart onto the couch.

"I know five years is long, but we have to stay strong. But who the fuck said we lost Jeongguk? He's still alive."

"Y-Yoongi."
