Taehyung's P.O.V.

I crane my neck to look up at the menu and quietly try to decide what to pick. After the person in front of me stands to the side, I take my order.

I move to the side as well after ordering what I wanted and sit patiently on one of the seats in the Coffee Shop. I pull up my phone and begin to laugh quietly at Hoseok's text. "He's such a crackhead," I whisper to myself.

My order is called and I quickly retrieve my green tea frappuccino. The atmosphere feels nice and calming. Everyone is focused on their own business, no one in a panic or experiencing anything difficult. Well maybe some of them are experiencing major difficulties, but at least they're not shouting out their problems to the public.

I laugh mentally at the messages Hoseok sends me, sending me gifs of extremely outdated memes or trends. I send a couple of them to Jimin, and his replies are full of laughter as well. A lot of "lol's" and "wtf's" are passed around through the messages, my lips smiling softly at my Hyungs but occasionally sipping the straw of my drink. We eventually create a group chat, containing the three of us, plus Seokjin.

A sudden tap on my shoulder brings my eyes away from the screen and I make eye contact with a fellow woman who stands before me.

Her long, raven hair shimmers in the reflecting light of the sun as it passes through the glass windows. She wears a denim jacket and a white, floral dress underneath. There are multiple wristbands and bracelets on her wrist, along with a beautiful watch. A choker with an unique symbol holds itself around her neck and a strapped purse wraps around her torso diagonally. She smiles sweetly at me, phone in hand and her drink in the other.

"May I sit here?" she asks politely and points to the vacant seat on the other side of the table.

I take a quick glance around the room, wondering why she would want to sit here. I quickly realize that the shop has become more crowded then usual, all of the seats taken. That's odd, it's never been this crowded... but oh well.

"Sure," I respond to the woman who seems to be around my age, maybe even the same as Jeongguk.

She smiles and gives me a "thank you" before sitting down. Once she lets herself become comfortable, I go back to looking at the messages the Hyungs have sent me. My reaction to the messages vary, most of them funny and most of them cringy. I almost laugh out loud when Seokjin joins in with the fun, sending an absurd looking picture of Namjoon's sleeping face.

"Talking to your girlfriend?" the woman before me asks suddenly. I glance up at her, then back down to at my phone.

"Nah," I reply as I respond to Seokjin's photo with a picture of Jeongguk's retarded looking face.

"Hm?" she cocks her head to one side, sipping her drink innocently.

I shrug and simply say, "I got a boyfriend."

She stops sipping for a moment, before smiling that sweet smile of hers. "That's cute. He must be sending you something funny to make you smile that much. You must praise him a lot."

The smile on my lips slowly disappear at her words. I look up at her quietly before saying, "Of course I praise him a lot, that's what partners do for each other."

She notices how my smile has shifted, indicting that I'm not in the mood to laugh anymore. She adjusts herself in her seat, clearing her throat. "I must've said something that made you upset, I'm sorry."

"No, i-it's fine. It's just that, I'm not really talking to him right now."

"Oh? Then who?"

"I'm talking to my friends right now." I show her the messages on my phone and she nods understandingly. I continue, saying, "My boyfriend is... he's elsewhere right now."
