Jeongguk's P.O.V.
My eyes blink rapidly as they adjust to the World of Light. I slowly stand up and stretch myself, letting out a groan.
"You're tired, aren't ya?" a voice says.
I look down and smile at the sight of Reality. She hops her way over to me, her pale pink pigtails bouncing with each movement. Unlike her outfit she wore the last time I saw her, she was wearing a pastel hoodie, black jeggings and a pair of converse.
"Yeah... I am tired... Hey, what happened to your Tutu?" I ask.
She shrugged. "I tossed it away and it magically disappeared!"
"Why?" I cock my head to one side. She shrugged once more.
"I didn't wanna play ballet anymore," she simply answers. Her smile returns once again as she grab my hand and pulls me to follow her.
"I see, then what scenario are we gonna do for 'Play Pretend' this time?" I ask. Her smile widens.
"Doctors! I wanted to do this play for a while! I find it weird." she continues to drag me through the white abyss.
"How weird?"
"Very weird! It's all sad, and that's why I want to do it." she firmly says with her childish voice. I scrunch my eyebrows together.
"Why would you wanna play something that's sad?"
"Because it's all different from the others. The last one we did was all happy. Swimming with dolphins and playing ballet was fun, but this one is different. It's weird, and it makes me 'ooo!'" Reality explains.
"I... I see..." I whisper.
The last time we did a concept that was sad ended up being about an event that happened to a boy. His parents left him for, according to Reality, "a bunch of years," until they returned. A lot of tears were shed and it kind of reminded me about Taehyung for some reason. I don't know, just the way Reality acted as the boy reminded me of him. The boy's parents left because of some job or whatever. I wonder what sad scenario we're going to do today...
"Here we are! The scene we is going to play for our Play Pretend skit!" Reality exclaims. She lets go of my hand and pushes a box towards me, specially the box that contains all of our costumes.
"Why are we... in a hospital?" I ask quietly, unlocking and opening the box. We're in a hospital room, and it smells like a hospital room. I never liked being in these type of buildings.
"Because this scene won't work if we don't use a hospital. And hospitals and scwary." she answers, reaching into the box and pulling out a doctor's outfit. "You wear this."
"This? Why a... doctor's outfit?" I began feeling a type of suspicion on what this scenario was going to be about.
"You'll see! Okie okie! You stand over here," she pulls me into one spot after I put on the doctor's coat and tucked the clipboard under my arm. "And I'll stand over here! Pretend there are other people beside me! About... four other people."
"Okay. Gotcha."
"So, you're a doctor! And I'm a person who's about to hear the news about my son. So! When you speak, speak serious! It's no fun if you keep laughing. I try not to laugh too." Reality explains me. I nod, not quite understanding why she chose this scenario to do out of all the others.
"Okie, your script is on your clipboard." she whispers loudly. She then folds her arms and puts on a serious face, which only makes her cuter.
"Okay. Ready? 1. 2. 3. Action..." I take a deep breath in and pull the clipboard in front of me.
