Jimin's P.O.V.
I laced my fingers through my hair before flipping the page to the next page. I smiled at the narrative, how funny these characters are... and how stupid they really are. I let out a sigh and reached over to grab my glass of water, drinking it down and placing it back before continuing to read.
I closed my eyes, trying to not think of the day, the moment where the doctor had gathered us all in one room and told us their "suggestion" of fixing Jeongguk's problem, how Seokjin acted when the doctor had said they were thinking of pulling the plug. I shook my head and took another breath.
I nearly jumped when my phone went off. I placed my bookmark on the page and closed the book before looking over towards the nightstand where my phone sat. I placed the book down and picked up my phone, looking at who the caller was. I smiled when I saw Taehyung's face pop up.
"Hey Tae." I answered. I heard him take a deep breath. I could see him smile.
"Me and Seokjin are gonna catch up on watching some anime Hobi had mentioned, over at Jeongguk's. Wanna join?" he asked. I smiled.
"Of course. What anime is it?"
"Hobi won't say. He wants to surprise us or something..." I could hear his voice fade a little.
"Something wrong?" I asked, a frown slowly taking over my lips.
"No... of course not... just... I'm just happy that Hoseok's trying to lift up our moods... even though I found him breaking apart the other day... I'm worried about him..."
"I see... well, we should lift up his mood as well. I heard that Mickey's turning 4 this year in a couple of days. We could throw Mickey a party." I suggested. I heard Taehyung laugh.
"That's an option. Yeah we can do that. Oh, Seokjin's out of the store. I'll see you at Jeongguk's."
"Yep, see you there."
I ended the call and let out a sigh. I got up from the bed and went towards my closet. I didn't feel the need to wear anything special so I just grabbed my jacket and wore it over my sleeved shirt. I slipped on my converse and was ready to go before I heard Yoongi scoff.
I looked over at Yoongi who was laying on the other side of the bed, scrolling through his phone.
"What's so amusing?" I asked. Yoongi shrugged and put his phone down by his side as he sat up. He adjusted his hoodie before stuffing his hands into his pockets.
"Jimin... what's the point of visiting him?" he asked. Now I wanted to scoff.
"Do I really have to answer that question?" I asked. He shrugged before nodding.
"Look Yoongi, I know you.... I know you don't think that Jeongguk's gonna.... gonn-"
"Survive... I know... but I don't understand why you're still visiting him. I mean, what's the point of waking up every day thinking he's gonna wake up, when the facts prove that he has a 85% chance of not waking up... I think it's actually best if we... put him out of his misery." Yoongi said as he stared at me, dead in the eye.
I stood there in shock.
"Put him out of his misery?" I asked, surprised that Yoongi would go that far.
"Pull the plug, yes." he said it as if that didn't mean anything.
"What... what in the world. Yoongi, what the fuck?" I walked up to him and crossed my arms.
"He's dying, slowly every day, Jimin. I know that he's in constant pain, I know."
"How do you know if you don't even talk to him? How do you know what it feels like to be in coma? How do you know if he had stopped fighting or-or-"
