Hidden (Young Justice/Batman&Robin fanfic)

Too busy

Dicks P.O.V.

My name is Richard John Grayson, but I go by Dick. You may also know me as Robin, the Boy Wonder. A while ago my foster father, Bruce Wayne A.K.A. Batman, was arrested for abusing me. The problem here is that he really wasn't abusing me. He was arrested based of of fake evidence from a mysterious source. When he was arrested I ran away from a family that wanted to adopt me and lived on the streets for a while until my best friend Kid Flash, A.K.A. Wally West, found out my identity and took me in for a while. After several events Bruce was released, and is now going crazy looking for whoever framed him...

"Does he ever come out?" Wally asked me.

"Sometimes. I mean I'm happy that he's back, but all he ever does is try to look for who sent the so called evidence that got him arrested." I replied to Wally. Of course I too was worried about who send the evidence, but I didn't want to go crazy searching after some guy. I wanted to hang out with Bruce since he was free. Bruce had only hung out with me the rest of the day that he was released, but then he went straight to work.

"At least he let's us hang out."

"I guess... Now I need him give to himself permission for some father and son hanging out time."

"Ha, true. Who do you think sent that evidence?" Wally's question surprised me. I had actually never thought about who is might be. I mean it could be anyone! It could even be my best friend, not that I was accusing any of my friends.

"I haven't really thought about it. It could be anyone."

"I guess," Wally phone chimed and he read what I believed was a text," Hey, I have to go. I'll see you at the mountain tomorrow." Wally exited the mansion.

Great, what was I supposed to do now? Maybe I could try to talk to Bruce and see if he could possibly take a break. I just hope he wouldn't reject me again.

Bruce's P.O.V.

"Recent police reports have shown that the criminal Tony Zucco has escaped from prison. He has been on the lose for about a month now. Police suggest you stay in your houses until further notice." The news lady reported. Zucco had escaped, and he had been gone for a month now! They were now just realizing this?! The guards at the prison hadn't noticed an empty cell, and these people think someone helping the police (like Batman and Robin) was a stupid idea.

Now I had to go fin- What am I going to tell Dick? I can't just tell him that Zucco's been on the run for a month now. He would go crazy and be patrolling night and day. He would be out of control and could seriously end up hurting himself or others trying to find Zucco. Maybe I just shouldn't tell h-

The elevator was bringing someone down. Dick. I quickly turned off the news report and sat at my computer.

"Um...uhh... Bruce? Can you possibly, maybe, consider taking a break?" Dick asked me nervously

I sighed. I had to go search for Zucco, but Dick would question why I was leaving," I guess I can take a short break."

"Please! I mean you never come ou- Wait... You said yes?"

"Yes, I did Dick. Now what do you want me to do?"

"Um...," He scratched the back of his head," I don't know. I wasn't expecting you to say yes."
