"Robin, are you okay?" Wally asked his now conscious friend. Robin smiled and replied," You're alive? You're all alive?" His smile was huge and it stood out extremely. The team had never seemed the boy wonder so happy and full of life. His eyes even seemed to light up through the mask that protected his eyes. It was pure happiness that was rarely ever seen in a persons eyes, but for some reason the boy wonder now possessed it.
"Yes, now are you okay?" Wally asked. Robin nodded unsure,"Uh- my head is killing me and so is my side," He groaned as he put pressure on the knife wound,"but I'm fine." His smile remained large. He had really believed that his team- family was dead because of him. He had believed that he had been the reason for his loved ones deaths again. It had left a huge gaping void within Dick. And he couldn't deal with that void anymore, and with the teams death, the void had grown and become stronger. A void that could never be filled again. Even love, power, or wealth couldn't fill the void. Though, the void has shrunken, there was still one, and would always be one.
Dick looked up to see the team exiting the infirmary. Batman had stayed put, so Robin had figured that the Bat directed the team to exit.
"Batman, why are you up? Aren't you injured." Robin asked worried. Batman was strict with Robins rest time after a wound, so Dick decided to do the same to Bruce.
Batman closed the door," Dick, I'm fine. Zucco just had me on a strong sedative. Alfred was able to wake me up within a matter of minutes."
Dick nodded, but still looked curious,"How did you get past Alfred?" He's like a ninja." The Dark Knight smiled knowing that his little bird was healthy enough to at least make a small joke.
Bruce checked if the door was locked and removed his cowl,"It was very difficult, but not impossible. I had to go through a lot." He said over dramatically. Dick too removed his mask and began laughing at Bruce's response.
The laughing and talking stopped, and a silence fell through the room. Dick took this silence as time. Time that he would try to remember the past events that occurred when he tried to save Bruce. He remembered confronting Zucco, he remembered how he was about to make a trade with Zucco. If it hadn't been for Wally, Robin wouldn't be in the Mountain right now. He would be beckoning to every one of Zuccos commands, and Bruce and Dick would have never reunited.
Dick then remembered the moment when the team barged into the building, he remembered the moments of chasing Zuccos goons, and the battle with Zucco. He remembered the pain that filled his body as the syringes contents worked itself on Dicks body. He then remembered the gun shot...
"Bruce, who got shot?! The team!" Dick looked at his mentor. Worry filled the ebonies face," D-did you?"
"Shh, calm down." Bruce calmed down his troubled ward.
"B-but I-I heard a g-gunshot... S-someone." Bruce silenced the boy.
"Someone did get shot, but it wasn't me or the team. It was Tony Zucco." Dicks eyes widened.
"B-Bruce... W-Wally... Did you or him...," Shoot him. Were they even capable of that? Did they have the desire to kill and the need to have the metallic taste of blood in their mouths. Dick sighed. They would never do that. Wally was too young and childish, and Bruce would never break his vow on not too kill. But if they both didn't pull the trigger, than who did...
Bruce shook his head," Wally nor I shot Tony Zucco. He shot himself. Tony Zucco killed himself. He said that he wasn't going to spend the rest of his life in prison. That he had to put an end to you, or himself. And seeing that he couldn't get to you, he shot himself."
Everything seemed to freeze for Dick. Tony Zucco was dead... Nothing made sense. His worst enemy, a man he just saw a couple of hours ago, was dead. No longer living. Gone from the world. Eternal sleep. Dead... His emotions were on over-drive. He wasn't sure whether to feel sad, because well, this man had killed his parents, taken Bruce, put Bruce in jail, and taken the lives of many. He couldn't feel sad because Zucco died. Especially with all the chaos the man caused in his life. And Dick couldn't feel happy because, a man just died. It wouldn't even be appropriate to crack a smile.
No one deserves to die.
His mothers words drifted into his thoughts. No one deserves to die. Dick turned and twisted the words, trying to place them into his situation.
He was distracted from his thoughts as he felt Bruce's hand land on his shoulder.
"He's really dead?" Dick said more confused than any other emotion. Bruce nodded. Anthony Zucco is dead... The murder of the Flying Grayson's is gone from the world. He couldn't hurt anyone else, but himself. Tony Zucco was killed by himself...

So? Should I write an epilogue or not??? If more than 10 people say I should write an epilogue, than I will, but if less, than I won't. So, until further notice, the end...
