The team was asking more and more questions about where Robin was. They obviously didn't believe Wally's stories, and if they did then they were going against his word to stay quiet.
They had been asking everyone possible for answers Batman, Kid Flash, and even some members of the league. Of course they all had the same story that Wally made up, or they lied about not having any idea where Robin was.
Batman hadn't given the team any missions within the two weeks which helped the team with their case. They also noticed how nervous and much more serious Wally was being.
Wally nowadays was with Batman in the cave trying to assist as much as possible. But with Wally being Wally it was hard.
"Just take a break and go outside." Batman said angered. Wally had broken yet another one of Batman's gadgets, and he didn't want to have to pay for another. He may have been a billionaire, but it still did cost quite a bit.
"Sorry...again." Wally went up into the mansion sighing. He really did want to help fine Rob, but at this pace he'd never be found. Why did Wally always have to mess things up? It's not like he wanted to. It was just there, and it can't be taken away.
Wally walked grumly outside after grabbing a donut from the kitchen. He needed to show Batman that he was good for something other than running at rapid speeds. But how would he show this to Batman?
Wally sighed as he took a small tour of the mansions front garden. Something seemed off to him. As if he was supposed to know something? He wasn't sure what this feeling was, but it was bothering him.
He scanned the garden more thoroughly and found a horrific sight.
"Dick?" Wally gasped as he saw his friend unconscious on the ground.
His arms and legs had numerous cuts all over them, his face had a lot of dried blood, and he had several large bruises surrounding his body.
How long had Dick been here for? Who put him there? Was he ever really gone? Who gave him those cuts and bruises?
All these questions were soaring through Wally's mind until he finally snapped out of his state of shock.
He gently pushes his arms under Dick and began to lift him up causing Dick to groan a little in pain.
"Everything's going to be fine." Wally whispered to Dick as he opened the mansion door.
He hadn't expected to see Bruce there, but he was human. He needed a break every once in a while too.
"Master Wally how was yo-" Alfred froze as soon as he saw Dick.
"Alfred are you okay?" Bruce started walking towards the two (three if you count Dick). He too froze as soon as he saw his son in Wally's hands.
"Where did you find him?" Bruce spoke more with anger than happiness.
"O-on t-the front lawn." Wally felt as if Bruce might blame him for Dicks condition.
"I'll take him to the cave. You can go home now Wallace." Wally flinched at his first name.
"But... Um... Is he going to be okay?"
"He will be." Bruce headed towards the secret entrance to the cave.
Alfred then spoke to help," Don't worry master Wally. I will inform you when Dick wakes up."
Wally smiled and gave him a nod. Dick was going to be fine. He was in Batman's hands after all.
