"You don't."

Sam didn't know what to do.

He was sitting to the left of Peter, whose eyes were cold, and had a gun pointed at Molly. Her mouth was hanging open as she leaned back.

Suddenly, Billy struck Peter in the head. Peter jerked, pulling the trigger, but his arm moved, so the bullet missed Molly by an inch.

Sam tackled Peter and Billy grabbed Molly, pulling her into the kitchen.

"How did you do that?" Molly whisper yelled.

"Ex heroin addict, remember?" He showed Molly his forearms, revealing faded needle marks. "You have no idea how many times I've had a gun pointed at me. It's not even funny anymore."

Peter pistol whipped Sam, chasing after the two.

"Mickey," Amber breathed. "Don't do this."

"Why shouldn't I?" He snarled. "You all were okay with kids getting bullied since the dawn of time."

Ms. Lewton raised her eyebrows.

"It's been like this forever!" Mickey pointed his gun at Terry and Carter. Carter gripped Terry's hand, as the barrel of the gun was pointed at him. "Popular kids like them think it's a game to torment kids like me, then kids like them," He points the gun at Lori, then Hunt, "Do nothing about it, so we kill ourselves." He pointed the gun at Ms. Lewton. "And all you teachers do is sit by, and expect us to be okay with it!"

He pointed the gun at Carter's head. "Well, not this time."

Suddenly, there was a bang against the lockers. Mickey walked over to the door, ever so quietly, keeping the gun trained on Carter.

Another bang. Closer this time.

Mickey opened the door to step outside. He came face to face with Nathan Sears.

Nathan knew about Mickey. He was Mickey's neighbor.

"Sears!" Mickey yelled.

Nathan turned around slowly, eyes widened in shock. "Mickey?" he asked incredulously.

"I bet you forgot about me," Mickey said coldly.

"I see you all the time with your little sister!" Nathan replied. "How do you think she feels about this?"

"She probably won't care. She'll get new neighbors... a new brother..." Mickey trailed off.

"But they won't be you," Nathan said.

"Does it matter?" Mickey said, pointing the gun at Nathan. "I don't think so. When this is over, McKinley High School will be known as the new Columbine. People will fear the name Mickey Barlow for years! For once, i'll get the recognition that I deserve!"

He laughed cruelly, until a voice behind him said, "Put the fucking gun down, Barlow."

Carla was still in the library, when she heard someone moaning for help.

Come on, Carla, she told herself, the shooter went upstairs.

She slowly moved from her hiding spot, crawling towards where the noise was. Her eyes never left the entrance to the library.

Carefully, she climbed over the librarian's desk. She almost put her foot down, when she heard the voice say, "Well, don't step on me, Candice."

Carla looked down, to see her foot above Nick O'Bannon's chest. She moved it, and knelt beside him. "Carla, actually," She corrected.

Nick laughed weakly. "I could never get that right."
