Into the Abyss pt. 6

  "Well," said Jerrick. "That kid just killed himself, oh by the way thanks Tarkus!" Jerrick  beamed. Tarkus had just saved Jerrick from being crushed by a paladins hammer.

  "Now to check my book yay!" smiled Jerrick. "Alright it says here that  the legend lives......... NO NO NO NO NO BAD BOOK!" Jerrick yelled at the top of his lungs.

  "What is happen?" asked Tarkus in a very bad sentence.

  "Giant Dad..... NO BAD BOOK BAD!" Jerrick replied while spooky goosebumps music played like DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN DUN and such.

   Jerrick fell onto his hands and knees panic running through his body. The Legend Giant Dad was their next task one so terrifying that no sane man could experience it. Luckily Jerrick was insane so he just had to do it.

  As he stood up a man ran at him. Shrek ran up and shanked Jerrick yelling "GET SHREKED MATE!"

  "Ok just what the fuck even happened that's just not cool man not cool," Jerrick said to the sky.

  Jerrick and Tarkus walked forward to the nest task but on the way.....

  "Hey Tarkus you ever heard of the game Dark Souls?" asked Jerrick referencing the game this story is based off.

  Tarkus grunted a no-ish grunt in response ruining Jerrick's hope for another person like him.

  "Well um do you know........ uh I can't really think of anything. Wait I got it Tarkus do you........... know what HighSchool DxD is? anime WAY TOO ECCHI yeah that show man don't know how I feel about it,"  Jerrick asked going into a ramble.

  When Tarkus responded they stumbled onto something a white glowy thing. Jerrick picked it up. "Hmmm Future Diary complete box set and a TV. heyyyy Tarkuuuuussss. You want to watch it hmm you wanna?" Jerrick asked. Tarkus agread and they wasted a few hours watching anime.

  Some time later

  "Tarkus you're my BEST FRIEND yah know that?!" Jerrick seemingly had replaced Solaire. Watching they had cried together, laughed together, been pumped together all the things. "Getting to know you I feel you need your very own Yuno Gasai cause you're a cool guy!"

  Continuing on

  "HEY TARKUS OLD PAL I FOUND SHANNON JUST LYING HERE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE!!!!!" Jerrick called to Tarkus. "Looks like she needs help hhmmmmm," Jerrick spoke softer as Tarkus arrived.

  "What the hell are you doing here?!" Shannon yelled having woken up after Jerrick's loudness.

  "We thought you were dead since you were lying on the floor," replied Jerrick not seeing any issue at all.

  "Well it's weird to watch a girl while she sleeps," blushed Shannon.

  "Really you're fucking doing this right now. Turning insecure close to the end no bad," Jerrick responded annoyed.

  "Well anyways why did you come this way?"

  "The book said to oh you might not want to fight this next boss just so yah know,"

  "Why the hell not?!"

  "It's THE LEGEND nothing big!"

  "The hell is the legend?!"

  "You ask to many questions did yah know that?"

  "Shut up! Let's just go," she mumbled starting to walk Jerrick an Tarkus following.

  At the fog gate

  "Alright so we probably shouldn't all go in maybe, only the best idea just saying," spoke Jerrick sipping on hot kool-aid.

  "I am Tarkus!"

  "Yes you are buddy but that's not the point," Jerrick said as Tarkus walked into the gate. "No Tarkus!" Jerrick yelled running in after him.

  The sight before Jerrick was terrifying. Giant Dad ninja flipped at Tarkus lightning fast and then.......Tarkus was gone. The Legend killed him in one stab. Jerrick ran to Tarkus's side holding him close crying."Tarkus why did it happen to you? Why not Shannon she is a total bitch why you?" Jerrick questioned tears flowing out of his mask.

  The Legend stabbed Jerrick not even allowing enough time to bury the dead.

  "Jerrick what happened in there where is Tarkus?" Shannon asked.

  "Dead that asshole killed him now I'm going to get him back for this," Jerrick spoke angrily under his breath. Jerrick crushed something in his hand a humanity which allows him to turn back to human from his hallowed state. Walking over to in front of the door Jerrick tapped two summon signs. Summon signs are what connect people throughout the convoluted time of Lordran Solaire had taught him that people shift in and out now Jerrick was going to force some to help him.

  "Yo you two are going to go in there with me and help me murder that friend killing son of a bitch let's go!" Jerrick commanded not giving them a chance to respond. Walking through the gate all three undead saw the monster coming for them. The two phantoms charged forward shields raised to block The Legend's attack's it lasted for a while put their guards broke.

  Rolling forward Jerrick spammed as many dark beads as he could taking a small chunk out of The Legend's health.One phantom summoned a Sunlight Spear throwing it at The Legend doing a lot of damage but getting skewered on the end of the Chaos Zweihander.

  Jerrick kept attacking The Legend with every spell in his disposal taking The Legend to a third of its health. The second phantom ran forward slashing and dodging away from The Legend. he got him low but then missed a dodge getting wrecked in the process. 

  Jerrick was all that was left. He took out his Moonlight Greatsword preparing for the worst when The Legend made a terrible mistake. He taunted. Taking this opportunity Jerrick swung his sword back and forth in the air destroying The Legend and his Legend with it.

  "Giant Dad. more like Giant Dead. well that's the best pun I have ever made that's good," Jerrick said confident of himself.

  Walking out of the bossroom Jerrick was happy -even to see Shannon-.

  "Well how did it go?" asked Shannon excited.

  "I killed him dead also made a great pun. it went Giant Dad. More Like Giant Dead," responded Jerrick 

  "That's a terrible pun,"

  "I don't care I just beat THE Legend so dropping a praise the sun and ending the chapter on a high note!"
