It was a school night but I was heading towards Jeongin's, my boyfriend's house, with my bag filled with necessities slung over my shoulder as I walk down the streets.

Just a few blocks away.

I decided to drop by a cafe to buy two iced coffees for the both of us before going to his house.

As I rung the doorbell, I was greeted by a smiley Jeongin in his pink dinosaur pajamas.

"You're here! Come in!" he said excitedly, pulling me inside the house and grabbing my bag, placing it on the coffee table.

I took my shoes off, and the next thing I new, his arms were wrapped around my waist and his chin was placed on top of my shoulder, hugging me tightly.

"I missed you," he said, kissing my cheek.

I blushed, snuggling my face into the crook of his neck. "I missed you too."

He pulled away, his hands still around my waist as he stared at me with that wide grin of his.

"So, it looks like your mom finally let you come to me now," he said, still grinning.

That made my smile drop. I actually lied to my mom about coming here. I told her that I was coming over to sleep at Paula's (my best friend's house) because we were working on a group project at her house. She agreed, and it made me happy that I can initiate my plan but it somehow made me feel bad that I lied to my mom.

Heck, she doesn't even know that I have a boyfriend.

Jeongin's lopsided smile slowly turned into a frown upon sensing my silence. He wrapped his arms around my shoulders and hugged me again.

"You lied to her again...didn't you?" he said, a hint of disappointment in his voice.

"I'm sorry," I say, looking up at him.

He smiled. "Don't worry about it. We'll tell your mother about us soon. I'll wait until you're ready."

I returned his smile and hugged him back tightly.

Jeongin kept teasing me about how I lied to my mom just to come to his house and sleep over. In my defense, his bed is much more comfier than mine and half of my clothes are in his cabinet. Plus, I like to steal his hoodies since they smell so good—just like him.

"Yay! I won!" I say happily, putting the controller down and taking a handful of popcorn, eating them all in one go.

Jeongin smiled and ate his part of the buttered popcorn, putting down his own controller.

"One more round?" I ask after drinking some soda to wash down the popcorn I just ate.

He shook his head, "It's getting late. We still have school tomorrow."

I smiled, shaking my head. "Let's clean up then."

After cleaning up, I went to his room upstairs and went to the bathroom, brushing my teeth and washing my face before slipping into his black hoodie and sweatpants that I love wearing so much.

When I stepped out of the bathroom, I found Jeongin fluffing up his pillows and arranging them in an orderly fashion before plopping down on his side of the bed.

He yawned before looking at me, his hand patting the space next to him. "Come, let's sleep." he said tiredly.

Giggling, I went over to him and lied down next to him. He scooted over and hugged me tightly, his arm draped over my waist with our legs entangled together.

I buried my head in his chest, "I love you." I say, feeling the sleepiness slowly get to me.

Before finally falling asleep, I heard a soft 'I love you too' from him.

I woke up, feeling the warmth of the sun peeking through the blinds of the window. Rolling to my side, I looked at the clock and saw the time—7:50 AM.

My eyes snapped open, wide as table plates. I shook Jeongin awake, accidentally hitting his face in the process.

"Ow," he grumbled. "(Y/N), you know I love you and all, but is it really necessary for you to hit my face so early in the morning?"

I looked at him, my eyebrow twitching in annoyance. "Jeongin, you do realize that we overslept, right? And we literally have like, ten minutes before school starts." I say.

He smirked and closed his eyes, and the next thing I knew I was back on the bed, his arms and legs over my body, trapping me in his embrace.

He looked at me, popping one eye open as he reached up to ruffle my hair, "Let's skip school. I don't feel like it."

I sighed, and was about to protest when he looked at me, giving me the best pouty face he could muster.

"Please? I promise, next week we won't be skipping a day." he held up his right hand.

I giggled at his dorkiness and pecked his lips. "Alright, you big baby. But next week, no skipping at all."

"Yay! I love you so much." he kissed the top of my head repeatedly and hugged me tightly.

I hugged him back, closing my eyes, "I love you too."
