I woke up with her shoving a wet rag into my face. My face was soaked as if I had taken a shower. Good Morning to you, too Alyssa.

And then I remembered what happened. In the notebook it said there would be a force that effected others on the activation of your abilities. And she had activated on purpose while I was nearby. My eyes and heart felt enraged. She knocked me out because she was hey!

"Are you okay?" she asked, leaning over me. Now, most guys would feel turned on by that, and considering the fact that I could see real sorrow and sympathy in her eyes, I could see she was really sorry. But I had no time for that, she had gone too far.

"I'm fine," I said. I was really peeved at her, and I would be heading home. Oh yeah, there was a dead Bane on my carpet and my house probably smelled of death now. If I stayed in there for another minute, I think I would be the next dead wolf. And considering the fact that we were supposed to be madly romantic and the fact that we had to stay together, that ALL helped me feel better. Note the sarcasm. I went downstairs to get some food. I didn't care if she objected; she had enough food to feed a blue whale.

Pouring myself some orange joice and eating a waffle, I steamed over what had happened. She expected us to be in love when she does that kind of stuff? Then she has no idea how to keep a relationship if she would do that. Why the h-

There was a sound similiar to the sound of explosion. Great, the Japanese were having their revenge, 'cept it was on Cheyanne. Yeah, I am not in the mood to be turned into radioactive sludge. Maybe tommarow, if I am in the mood.

I looked out the wondow and wished I hadn't.

Dozens upon dozens of Bane were stumbling onto Cheyanne from our highway. They devoured anything, from the children on the street to the elderly to the bicicles left on the sidewalk, tearing them apart like they were some sort of great dish. They rushed with speed that I was familiar with, but they were as tall as me, which made them even scarier.

I ran up to Alyssa's room and reported what I saw, momentarily putting away the bad thoughts between us. I grabbed that black journal, skimmed over on how to activate these abilities I have obtained, and I read over on how to use them. Thats when I heard rain. Perfect.

Unlike Alyssa, I had some sense to go into a different room to activate my powers. Made no difference, when I activated my abilities, the temperature in the room dropped to freezing point and suddenly the walls bust and splintered, which brought maybe 60 Bane's attention on me.

Great going, Mason. You should get an award for how to kill yourself.

They all rushed at me. Then the downpour started. I tried to focus on the raindrops, but there were to many. Then I got it. Don't focus on the raindrops, focus on the rain itself!

Just in time I was able to increase the force of the rain to what a hurrican would be and redirect it at the bane that were charging me. It ripped the muscle off their bone and their remains skattled away. I then remembered the lake.

On the news the other day it said the flooding was caused by something in the earth's mantle, which was why the water was scorching hot. I didn't need the Mantle to create another flood. I forced the rain to be as hard as I could make it onto the lake. Then I stretched my mind out onto the lake then....

"Whoosh!" The lake came like a tsunami onto Cheyanne, sweeping away the Bane and rolling them headlong into brick houses and concrete. I then returned the water of the lake back and realized the dammage I had done.

Many of the houses were collapsed, with people under them. The asphalt and sidewalks were torn up like a grenade was thrown. Alyssa's house escpecially was horrible, with two walls missing and the roof's shingles were blown apart or cracked.

The highway was collapsed and massive blocks of concrete the size of boulders lay scattered on the country side. One was even hit so hard by the rain it flew up into someone's house. Bane lay dead everywhere, black and red blood and organ matter scattered across the street. I could see glimpses of dead people I had killed; hands and feet under ruined buildings, an gnarled body here and there smashed by cars that had come up in the rain, etc.

I was a murderer. And I was supposed to be one of the people that would save the world? More like ruin it. I would be like a destroyer, or a bulldozer, tearing up everything that has already been done. It was like God had planned for this to happen.

A soft hand rested upon my shoulder. I turned my head to see Alyssa. Her face was without emotion, but her hand brought enough comfort to blind me from what had happened.

I heard choppers coming in. Wow, great, I attracted the news like a moth to a flame, and now I had to go.

I popped the keys into my car and Alyssa stood outside my Mustang. I couldn't leave her. The police and the news would interview her and she would become a public sensation. I couldn't let her go through that kind of humiliation. And so I let her onto my soft leather seats. We would be heading to a small town called Okechee, where I had contacts that could help. Like an old contact named Liam.

It was night when I got to Okechee, which was almost in Washington. Okechee was the exact place where a group of Indians tried to set up a tribe and failed do to the fact the goverment was planning on placing a town. The town was named Okechee after the indians. And okechee has never been that popular.

It was extremely wet in Okechee and cold enough to give you frostburn in the middle of the summer. The houses were small so that they could get warmer faster. The only large building was a memorial to the Indians that the goverment had to kill off. Arrows vs. Bullets.

I went into an 8 room motel and immediately saw Liam smoking in the corner. I waved to him, he glanced in my direction, and he waved back.

Liam had blonde hair that was always slicked to the side and a bit of stubble. He was tall and played football in High School until he dropped out because he had bad grades. He now worked at Burger KIng.

I approached him, and we started to talk.
