When a Qrow lands near a Rose

Just me and the Rose

It was a long night. After Summer got her dress we walked back to the school then went to our room. When we got there, we just went to bed and passed out. But now it's morning. Summer and I were sleeping in because we were out late when Raven and Tai came running into our room making a lot of noise shifting stuff around. Summer then sat up and rubbed her eyes to try and wipe the sleep away.

"What are you guys doing," Summer asked still sounding sleepy.

"Sorry we didn't mean to wake you but we have to pack because Ozpin is sending us on a mission that will be over night," Tai said putting cloths into a bag.

"Will you be back for the dance tomorrow,"Summer asked sounding kind of worried.

"Yeah, we will, sadly,"Raven said rolling her eyes.

Raven says that, but I know she wants to go. She's just not used to the you have to have your hair and makeup done. Tai and Raven finished packing and were about to leave when Summer got out of bed sand walked over to them. She hugged Tai and then Raven. What surprised me was that Raven hugged Summer back.

"You guys be safe ok," Summer said.

"We will,"Tai and Raven said in sink.

"We'll be back tomorrow afternoon," Tai said and walked out the door with Raven.

I finally sat up on my bed. I looked at Summer who walked over to her bed and fell face first onto her bed. I couldn't help but laugh. She sat up and sat cross legged on her bed and looked in my direction.

"So they're gone and we have nothing to do today," Summer said.

"Yes so we are by ourselves with nothing to do," I said turning to sit on the edge of my bed to face Summer.

"Well there is lots to do but I don't know what I want to do."

"Exactly so what do we do," I say to Summer.

She got up from her bed and sat next to me on mine. She leaned on my shoulder. I felt my cheeks heat up very slightly but I don't think enough to be a blush. I looked down at her and her eyes were closed.

"We do nothing," she said in a whisper.

"What."

"You heard me. We do nothing we have been in class all week. Its our day to rest," she said sitting up and looking up at me.

"Ok so I'm guess your going back to sleep," I say to her.

"I would like to, but then you'd be by yourself and I can't do that,"she said resting her head on my shoulder again.

"Why? You think I'll get lonely," I say jokingly.

"No I think you'll destroy the room," she said with a smile on her face.

"Ha ha," I say sarcastically.

I could feel her giggling. She sat up and looked at me.

"You know its true,"she said smiling.

"I ain't saying nothing,"I said turning away. I couldn't help but smile.

"Hey Qrow," Summer said standing up from the bed.

"Yeah."

"I think I know what we should do today," she put her hand on my shoulder.

"What?" I said waiting for her to answer.

"It's a place and you'll see when we get there. So get ready,"Summer said grabbing her clothes and walking to the bathroom to change.

I hope we do something relaxing. it probably will because Summer said she didn't want to really so anything and it was our day to relax without school or Tai and Raven and their foolishness.
