When a Qrow lands near a Rose

the night of the dance part 2

Summer and I were walking out the dorm rooms to the dance. When we walked into the court yard,  me and Summer spot something we never thought we would have seen in a thousand year. Raven was kissing Tia!

It was so surprising, I never thought Tai would be fooled into liking her like that. I mean, Raven is kind of abusive. But then again she grew up like that and the tribe didn't make it better. Usually when you hear your sister is with someone, you get defensive and start threatening that if he hurts her you would kill him. But in this situation I know it wont be her that gets hurt in the end. And I cant help but be sorry for him. Hopefully Raven will change for the better.

"Oh my god Qrow!," Summer said pointing at them," When did that happen?"

"I have no idea," I said to Summer.

We started to walk around them and head into the auditorium where the dance was being held. When we got there we saw so many people dancing or talking.

"Soooooooo, what do you want to do?" I asked Summer.

"I don't know.  Whatever you want."

"You could just stand here and do nothing or you could go and enjoy yourselves," Professor Ozpin came up behind us.

"OH MY GOODNESS! Professor Ozpin, you scared me!" Summer said after she jumped towards me from being scared.

"My apologies Miss Rose.  I just think you should enjoy yourselves. You won't get nights like these often," Professor Ozpin said and then walked away.

"You know. Professor Ozpin is a weird old man, but he does have a point."

"Yeah. Anyway would you care to dance," I extend my hand to Summer.

"Qrow I can't dance. So unless you want to end up with a swollen foot I don't think so," Summer said blushing a little.

"It's ok.  I can teach you."

"You can dance?" Summer said with shock on her face.

I didn't say anything. I just smiled at her.  She smiled back and took my hand. I lead her to the dance floor. The entire time when I led her to the dance floor she looked more and more unsure about her decision. As soon as we got there, she started to get super nerves. I felt her start to shake. I took her hand and put it on my shoulder. I then put my hand on her waist and we locked our other hands together. I start to move slowly so she can get the hang of it. I was surprised she only stepped on my foot twice.

"Sorry," She would say and then look down to make sure she wouldn't step on my foot again.

I honestly didn't care.  It didn't hurt me. And I get it must be harder to learn how to dance in those heels.

"Do you want to stop for a while?" I asked her.

"Yes please," Summer says stopping.

"You did good."

"Thanks," She says looking down.

I just sat there looking at her. She was just so beautiful. She looked up at me and smiled. I started to blush a little bit I didn't care. She looked into my eyes and I looked into hers.  I felt like I was flying to the moon. I slowly moved closer to her when all of a sudden three girls and two guys came over to us. Summer started to move behind me a little. The people looked formiliar but I couldn't remember from where. Two of the girls walked up to Summer. One slapped her and the other pushed her to the ground.

"You need to stop being such a bitch around us.  Just because you have a guy with you doesn't mean your safe," One of the girls yelled.

Summer started to cry.  She got up and ran out of the auditorium. I then realized that they were the people pushing her around on the first day of school. I was about to run after but first I had to fix this.

"What is your problem, " I started to get really irritated.

"She didn't treat us with respect on the first day. Doesn't she know who we are," said one or the girls.

"You mean a bunch of whores," I started to get furious.

"EXCUSE ME! " the girl yelled.

"Don't come near Summer again. If you do I will hurt you so much more then you hurt her," I said trying not to yell and make a bigger scene.

I turned around and ran out of there trying to find Summer. Once I got to the courtyard I saw her run into the Emerald Forest. It was in the same spot where we went in to go to the cherry blossom tree. But she didn't have her weapon on her and she was upset. I don't want her to attract a Grimm and get hurt. So I run in the direction I saw her go. I promised her I would keep her safe and out of harms way.  I just broke part of that promise.
