Ok, the boy was kind of weird, Y/N had to say.. Not in a bad way. It was more a weirdly cute kind of way: where she did not know WHY she found him so adorable to the point she thought it was weird. This was an adult man, she should not have the urge to squeeze his cheeks.

She had no doubt that 'Chim' wasn't his actual name though.

Either way, 'Chim' left around 2 am. Honestly Y/N was kind of disappointed when he asked his bill, he was really fun to talk to. Not just because his English was only so-so, but also because he was so adorable and sweet.

It was too bad she was only filling in someone else. 'Chim' was only a regular at the night shift, and since Y/N knew how bad Ralph felt for having someone underage work this late, it would probably be the last time she'd be asked to cover for nightly shifts.

At 5 AM, Ralph closed up shop.

By that time, everyone except for the man had left. Luckily the man had only been drinking coffee so there was no need to worry about a drunkard causing a ruckus. Y/N left the shop.

Jesus it was late.. Y/N couldn't wait to get home, put on pajamas and just snuggle into her blankets until Monday. Her parents were on a weekend away so luckily no one would be there to scold her for sleeping an entire Sunday away.

She stretched her arms and yawned. The cold air blew past as she shivered.

It was cold.. She had kind of hoped the sun would already be up while walking home, but its light was still nowhere to be seen. The moon seemed to be ready to call it a day though.

It was really dark..

An unsettling feeling washed over her.

She pretended to fix her bag and took a subtle glance behind her.
Ever had the feeling someone was watching you from afar?
She had known the feeling once before, the first time she met Red, Fluffy, White and Chocolate.
Back then, she felt that the stares weren't dangerous. It was as if something inside her had known the creatures meant no real harm.

This feeling however...

This time it screamed throughout her whole body.
'run'.

'Calm down Y/N it might just be your imagination.'

...

'And if it isn't, running away would only alert the pursuer I know about them.'

The feeling continued for the entire walk. Someone was DEFINITELY there. She knew it.

She knew it from the way the small, movement-sensor sidelights would lit on, even when she had already passed by them.

She knew it from the way she could hear pebbles moving from their spot behind her so now and then, as if someone was accidently kicking them.

But most of all: she knew it from the way in the distance, the slow but steady rhythm of heavy shoes hit the ground, stopping when she did, and continuing the minute she started walking again.

Getting more nervous with the minute, Y/N took her phone, trying to make it look as subtle as possible, as if she was just looking at the time.

She doubted he was still awake, but-

To: Ally
"On street near old Dupont Bakery. Help."

She had barely pressed sent or she could feel a cold hand around her throat, throwing her into the wall of a closed shop.

The back of her head directly hit the bricks, making her cried out in pain.

Red liquid dripped from her head, but she had no time to take it in before a boot kicked her in her lower stomach.

She gasped, but failed to grasp any oxygen. A sickening feeling made its way through her body, as she could taste something irony at the back of her mouth.

Blood?

She cursed, why did that hurt so much more than it should have??

At first she thought it was because she was scared, and her brain made her feel like it hurt way more than a normal kick.

Then, however, she looked in front of her and saw the figure's boots were made from iron, with heels.

Why the fuck. No wonder the damned footsteps were so loud.

She only realized she had fallen through her knees when she looked up to see a person towering above her, their body hiding her from the only street light around.

She couldn't see who it was.. It was too dark.
Her head started to feel dizzy from the impact with the wall and her vision was blurring.

Was she still losing blood?
Had Ally read her message?
Why her?

The person never spoke a word. No sign to give away their gender, no hint to what their goal had been.
Nothing.

She felt everything fade away.

The last thing she could make out was the petrifying sight of the tall, dark figure, being pushed away, and the rising sun finally making its entrance in the horizon.

A/N: Y'all don't know how happy I am to put a bit of an action scene in this. I'm getting worried about the story becoming a bit boring
