Chapter 22

Jimin, Taehyung and Jungkook walked into the café.

"Ah, so this is where Y/N works" Jungkook awed as he looked around, "It's nice.."
Taehyung nodded, before noticing the two friends sitting at a table at the bar.
"There she is! And that must be one of her friends! Shall we go say hi?" He asked, already on his way over.

Jimin quickly halted him, "Wait! She told me one of her friends is a fan of bts! That might be him."
"Is that so..?" Taehyung frowned in disappointment, "Then meeting him will blow our cover..."
"Do we just wait until he leaves?" Jungkook asks.
"What do you want to do? Pull a Namjoon and go sit in a corner?" Jimin asked.
Taehyung thought back, "Didn't Namjoon get caught? We're with three we'll probably get caught thrice as fast right?"

Jungkook shook his head, "No let's do this! Let's win."
"Wait, win what?" Taehyung wondered.
"Win from hyung!"
"Win what? Title of best stalker?" Jimin asked confused
"I don't know but let's win it" Jungkook was already looking around to find the best table for this.

Jimin followed after Jungkook, who quickly found the perfect table to carry out this.. competition?
"Jungkook no."
"Jungkook yes" the boy replied as he sat down.
The other two sat down when they realized they wouldn't be able to win this anyway, this was just their life.

"So what did hyung do that got him caught?" Jungkook asked.
Jimin let out a sigh, "Uhm.. He sat in a corner, like us, wearing a face mask and dark sunglasses, like us."
"Okay but what was he doing we shouldn't be doing  to get caught?" Jungkook repeated.
"First: sitting in a corner, like us, wearing a face mask and dark sunglasses, like us."

Ralph came over and smiled, "Hello, can I take your order?"
The three blanked out. They literally sat down here for 3 minutes and already got caught?

"Hello?" Ralph repeated, getting no reaction, "Should I come back again later?"
After getting, still, no reacting Ralph just left, not knowing what else to do.

"That went so smooth" Jungkook said, snapping out of it.
"What was smooth about that??" Jimin was panicking, "We looked like absolute creeps! There's no way he didn't find us suspicious."
Taehyung perked up, "So we lost already?"
"It's not over until it's over! What else did Namjoon do wrongly??"
Jimin let out a sigh, "He never ordered a drink despite being in a cafe."

Taehyung took the card, "Okay, I had tomato juice last time I was here."
"Do they sell that here?" Jimin asked, "I never saw it on the list before."
"Y/N got it for me!" Taehyung answered, "So they must sell it right?"

"Hyung, ever thought she may just have made it for you whenever they sell it or not?" Jungkook asked, already knowing she did.
"Why would she do that?" Taehyung asked.
"Because she wanted to thank you and Hobi-hyung?"
"But she already said thank you."
"Deeds speak loud than words."
"How do you know all this?" Jimin asked.
"Every time I go over, she tells 'Chocolate' about anything that happens in her life. I think she sees me as a dog counselor or something."

Taehyung chuckled, "That's cute."

"It is but now I feel like I am the information overlord and I don't know how to handle all this power."
If anything could describe Jimin's inner thoughts right now, it would be a keyboard smash.
"Jungkook nO. Please keep whatever she tells you to yourself, okay?"
The younger nodded his head, "Okay Jiminie-hyung~"

Jimin placed his hand on his heart at hearing the nickname, his maknae was lucky he was adorable.

Jungkook took a long sip of his freshly ordered banana milk, "So, our super plan to succeed is: off with the sunglasses, the mouth masks stay. We order every 10 minutes after our current drink is finished."
"And why are we doing this again?" Jimin wondered again, stirring the spoon of his drink.
"To beat Namjoon-hyung!"

Jimin really wasn't about this life. A competition on who is better at stalking a minor? Might as well call it a competition on who get the cops called on him first.

To be honest, Taehyung on the other hand had trouble keeping in his laugh. He actually doubted Y/N would really mind them, and Jungkook was having fun, so what's the harm?

Jungkook was feeling like he was in a spy kids movie. He was READY. This was his moment.
"Hey where did Y/N go?" Taehyung asked.
"Who cares we're in the middle of beating Namjoon-hyung."

Jimin was lost.

"But.. Aren't we..? Aren't we stalking her?? So we're supposed to be watching her, right??"

"Jimin-hyung that's so creepy to say" Jungkook said, shaking his head in disappointment.

Jimin gave up. His brain had officially left the conversation, he had nothing to say, nothing to add. All he could do was lean back and reflect.

As Ally left the cafe, Y/N went back to the bar.

Ralph had just gone back from bringing drinks to a certain trio.
"You have really interesting friends" he said, shaking his head.
Y/N had no idea what he meant. Did he mean Ally? She wondered as she stared at him in honest confusion,

"?? What do you mean?"
