The Bangtan household was already lousy enough when the doorbell rang.
"Huh? Did someone order something?" Namjoon asked as Tae, Jimin, Jin and Jungkook were all collectively and loudly playing on the ds.
"That must be Y/N! I invited her over" Hobi said, "We haven't seen her in a while now."
Jungkook froze, "O-oh.."
"Jungkook it's been 2 weeks are you still not over it?" Jimin asked.

The younger pouted. To be completely honest ever since then he hadn't even gone to see her in wolf form..
"Jungkook" Jin started, "I paid some visits to her, and believe me, she doesn't blame you at all. Just relax."
"Y-yeah.. but.."
"No buts. Just trust your Hyung on this one. And when have I ever lied to you!"
"When you forgot to buy my banana milk and tried to pretend I already drank it and just forgot about it, for example."
Jin stared at the younger boy for a good minute, "Exactly I have never lied to you once in my entire life."
"You did-"
"I said what I said so trust your Hyung."

Jungkook nodded, "Okay..."
"It'll be fine!" Taehyung ensured.
"What happened actually?" Hobi asked.
"It's nothing Hoseok" Jin said, "Don't worry about it."
"Okay?"

"Uhm.. Is no one gonna open the door?"
"oops."

Y/N stood outside, wondering if she should ring the doorbell again.
"I feel like I've been left on read in real life or sum."
Eventually Namjoon opened the door, "Good morning Y/N."
"Morning. Is the doorbell broken..?"
"No we just kind of forgot to answer."
So she really had been left on read in real life.

The moment she walked in she was basically immediately attacked.
Hobi lunged for her in the most violent hug the girl had ever witnessed in her 17 years of living.
"Hobi!"
"Hi!"
"Hyungie no break her neck" Taehyung mentioned from the couch.

Laughing, Hobi let go, "Sorry! It's been a while!"
"It has.. I haven't seen anyone but Jin around the cafe. It's been lonely."
"Haa! Me and Jimin came over!" Taehyung protested.
"Walking in, stealing a newspaper from the cafe's rack and leaving doesn't count."
"Is that why we have English newspapers laying around?" Namjoon asked.
"Is for practice" Taehyung said proudly before going back to his ds.
"Y'all lucky Ralph doesn't care" Y/N said with a sigh.

"Anyways, Hobi said we're playing video games, so I brought my Nintendo!"
Jin made a long gesture to the couch, "Welcome. Join."
"what are we even playing?" Namjoon asked, "I literally own only Pokémon games."
"We're playing Pokémon" Tae said, "Everyone loves Pokémon."
Y/N nodded, "I hear no lies."
Jin groaned, "Online battles with Jungkook no fun!"
Jungkook snickered, showing off his screen, it showed a win streak of 13.
"Well damn."

"I am not lot good at battle" Jimin chuckled, "But Jungkookie wins from all of us."
Taehyung looked through his box, "I avenge you all. I make team special beating Kookie."

Y/N sat down next to Tae and watched the screen.
He was going through his box, looking for the perfect team to beat Jungkook with.
"Ok, so Jungkookie uses a Lucario."
"Okay, pretty popular."

"A Dedenne"
"That's so adorable."

"A Booster."
"A what?"

"And a Pijontoo."
"Huh?"

"He has Pulrozel too."
"Whomst?"

"And lastly a Guraeana"
"I have no idea who you're talking about."

Now, Y/N knew her Pokémon very well. She'd played all the games, but Pijontoo? Guraeana? BOOSTER? No idea, never heard of her.

Tae went through his box, "For his Booster, I bring my Rugaruam."
"Dude that's a Lycanroc."
"No that's Rugaruam?"
"That's literally Lycanroc you just put in your party."
"No?"
"What."

Namjoon cleared his throat, "You do realize Pokémon can have different names in some countries... right?"

"Wait so then what is Booster?"
"I think it's called Flareon in English."
"It's a Flareon? Y'all have trouble beating a Flareon? He knows like... 2 fire moves or sum."
"Yeah but Kookie taught it Superpower."
"WAIT WHAT? I forgot you could even teach him that."

"Yeah, he taught it Flare Blitz, Superpower, Iron tail and Facade."
"That's a big yikes.. But shouldn't you bring a water type then? If you know he has a fighting move, why bring a Lycanroc who is weak to that?"
"Because he's fire?"
"Yeah but superpower is gonna body that dog."
Tae pouted, "But I like Rugaruam."
"Don't worry you can bring him neverless!! But like, can you beat another Pokémon of his team with with it..?"

"Ah! His Pijontoo."
Y/N looked at Namjoon for translation.
"That's Pidgeot."
"Ah.."

Tae and Y/N spend blood sweat and tears into this team.
Holding in account Jungkook's move sets, abilities, items and thinking of a comeback for all of it.

And finally, the ultimate team was formed.

"You can do this Tae!" Jimin cheered.
"Gogogo" Hobi yelled.
Jin held Tae's shoulder tightly, "Avenge me"

He still lost.
You know why?

Jungkook didn't bring his normal team.

"SINCE WHEN DO YOU HAVE A GODIMOISELLE??"
"Fuck the Gothorita this bitch brought a HYDREIGON."
"WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT THE MAGMEZONE??"
"I SWEAR TO GOD you did NOT have a Nunseolwang when I last saw your save file!"
Jungkook was snickering through all of it.

Jimin and Namjoon, the only non-competitive players here, sat in the distance, watching them.
"Their English turns good when they're yelling!" Jimin said in awe.

"I wish it was this good when we're in interviews."

They watched for a bit longer in silence before Namjoon spoke up again.
"Jimin, don't you think Jungkook has been behaving... oddly familiar?"

Jimin hummed, "Uhm.. I don't know.. In what sense, Hyung?"
"Just.. Around Y/N?"

"Oh! Yeah I see what you mean" Jimin giggled, "It's cute, right? Being so excited to hang out with her, but at the same time too shy and scared to actually do it. It's just like back then, when he first joined us!"
"Exactly."
"But Jungkookie is shy around all new people, he was like this too when he entered school."
"Did he also clung to them when he wasn't, you know, conscious?"
"No not at all" Jimin admitted, "But I'm sorry, I don't understand what you're trying to say.."
"It's just.." Namjoon honestly didn't know either.
It was stupid right?

There was no way Jungkook accidently bonded with a human.

Sorry but I LOVE Pokémon and wanted to include Y/N and the boys enjoying it together
and getting angry over it I suppose.

Fun thing: I actually made a list last year with what Pokémon team I thought the boys would have.

I'd like to try and imagine the guys as gym leaders next.

For those who likes Pokémon too, if you were to be a gym leader, what typing/ level would you be?
I'd love to be the ice gym.
