I'm writing this fanfiction with my best friend, and we decided to take turns with the chapters. I'll be handing it over to her now. Good luck. :)

Hi! This is @_chemicalcandy_ and I really have no idea what I'm doing, so wish me luck!!

I slammed the door shut as I pulled Grace into the van.

Where are the others? I wondered to my self as I climbed into the front and sped away. Adrenaline Roulette was talking in the back with Grace.

"B-But t-they're g-gone!" I heard Grace sob. I looked in the rear view mirror and caught a glance at Jet Star collapsed on the Trans-Am.

"They're not gone, they can't be," A.R. exclaimed. She was right, the Fabulous Killjoys couldn't be gone. Killjoys never die, that's what Kobra, Party, Jet and Ghoul taught us. I wiped a few stray tears from my eyes and focused on the road. Trying to lighten the mood, I turned the radio on, but no matter what frequency I put it on, I only got static.

That's strange, Dr. D always has a broadcast at this time. Oh well, we're probably just to far from head quarters. I thought, trying to reassure myself. A.R. started to sing, and her voice filled the van. I recognized the song, it was one that Party always sang. As the haunting melody carried on I thought back to before. Before I was a killjoy, when I had just started at the Umbrella Academy. I didn't know anything about the killjoys. I was just another student at the UA. That is, until Jet Star found me. He was a caring man with a big fro, and he told me about the killjoys. He said he wanted me to train to be one too. He took me to meet the others. They were hesitant to train me because I was underage. They only start training kids to become killjoys after they turn 12, and I was only 10. Jet must have seen something in me, because he soon convinced the others to let me train. But the Umbrella Academy didn't like it. The headmasters fought with the killjoys to stop my training, but they never did. Finally I was free from the UA on my 12th birthday, and I was able to join the killjoys officially. Around that time was when they found another girl. Her name became Adrenaline Roulette, and mine Chemical Candy. Our old names became unimportant, as did our old lives and families. Adrenaline Roulette became my sister, and the others were the brothers I always wanted. My thoughts of the past were interrupted when I heard A.R. speak up. "How long until we get there?" I looked at her in the rearview mirror. Her eyes were puffy from crying, but she was still her strong self. Grace was in her lap, asleep. "About 4 or 5 hours, so you better get comfy." She nodded and laid down, soon falling asleep. I turned back to the road, rubbing my tired eyes. I had a long ride ahead of me.

As much as I wanted to let Adrenaline get her much needed sleep, we were almost at the HQ. "Hey, wake up. We're almost there." She sat up, rubbing her eyes. Grace stayed asleep as A.R. climbed into the seat next to me. We sat in silence for a few minutes before I spoke up. "How are you doing?" I said quietly. She didn't answer right away.

"I'm fine. I think i'm all cried out, and there isn't anything we can do," she said. "I'm all alone now," she said quietly so i wasn't supposed to hear.

"Adrenaline Roulette. We have been together for six years, and you are like a sister to me. There is no way that you are alone. I will always be there for you no matter what." She opened her mouth to say something, but I cut her off as I stared out the window in shock.

We were about a half a mile from the HQ where we were supposed to meet Dr. Death Defying and Show Pony, but even from this far we could see it.

The battle that had been.
