*One week later.*
"Ew. Do we really have to wear uniforms?" I asked while looking at my box like body in the mirror. "You look like a box sis." Luna said with her hair in a ponytail. She's wearing the same uniform as me and looks better. How exactly? A navy blue skirt and a white shirt with a red, blue and gold tie.
I on the other hand has my hair in a messy bun but I'm wearing my glasses today. "How do you look better than me? Is it the glasses? I know I have a little more curves than this." I pouted in the mirror. "Maybe if I take off the glasses it'll look better." I tried by taking of the glasses and placing them on the dresser next to my wall size. "No it's just you. Don't blame the glasses." She said walking towards me. She picked up the glasses and placed it on me.
"Just leave." I said, pointing to the door. She teased me before walking out the door. After she exited my room she shouted," You still look like a box though." Elliott walked in after her. "What's that about?" He asked pointing behind him and watching after her. "What she said is what it's about." I said walking to my bed. I dropped down on it and just sat.
"I look like a box." I pouted while still seeing myself in a mirror. "I think you look fine. Unforms doesn't look good on anyone. Like look at these pants. It's like I'm about to fly away." He said before jumping on my bed. "I believe I can fly!" He sang before pulling the excess material to each side of his legs with his hands and jumping off the bed.
I began to laugh a little bit. "Cheer up little sis." He said flicking my chin up. "Oh stop it with your flicketty wrist." I said holding my hands out like a T-Rex and fanning his hands away from me. I stood up and he followed my attention. I stop and began to pout," Sometimes I think I'm actually a T-Rex in disguised." I said before he laughed. "Come on we have to get to school." He said. "It's like six in the morning!" I whined. "Yeah and we got to reach there for seven." He said while picking up my bag. "You know the drill T-REX. Let's go." He said, walking out of the room.
I groaned before going outside to Luna's room.
You know this mightn't be that bad. Maybe the kids at the new school will be nice and the teachers and the facilities and the food and they'll probably have air conditioning in the classrooms like my old school.
An hour and fifteen minutes later and I want to drop to the ground to cry. I stood holding the straps of my bag at the doorway of my new classroom. The classrooms has no air conditioning. In fact it's nothing like my old school. The boys here are like monkeys and the girls act so prestige with there legs together and everything. Oh God! Is that dude on the locker at the back of the class? How did he even get up there? The classrooms are so boring! The colour is so dull and there is no decorations. I think I'm about to die. Is that a rotten apple in the corner? I think I'm about to faint-
A bright light shone upon my face. I began to see a person getting closer to me. His brown eyes seemed so familiar and the sharp jawline and the dimples on both cheeks. "Aviel? Is that you?" I asked before seeing him smile. His striking white teeth had almost blinded me. "Yes Ember. I'm here." He said to me. I began to smile like a lovesick teenage girl. After all I am a teenage girl. I'm not so sure about the lovesick part yet.
"Hey? Hey? Are you okay?" A male voice asked me. I closed my eyes and when I opened them another boy was there. I shifted away from him quickly while screaming. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Who are you?" I asked in embarrassment. What just happened? "Nice to meet you too." He laughed while picking up my bag. "No I got it." I said taking the bag away from him.
He held out his hand for me to get up and I shook my head," Nope. I got it." I said while pushing myself up to my feet. I dusted out my skirt before turning to him," What just happened?" I asked him. "You fainted. Didn't you eat anything this morning?" He asked me. I shook my head shyly. "No." I said. I'm not really a shy person but he's kind of cute. I'm mean light brown eyes, clear brown skin with black straight hair and a dimple on his right upper cheek that matches the one I have on my left. I mean he is taller than me and his personality is kind of sweet-
"Woah, woah, woah. Hold up sis. You don't even know him for two seconds and you're already crushing on him? Do you remember Aviel or have you already forgotten about him? Woohoo! I'm talking to you!" My good two shoes conscience said.
"Oh shut up you little, cutie patootie angel. She isn't going to listen to you. She'll rather to listen to me. You know the bad conscience? The one with the bad ass horns and halo. Oh! Look! I forgot to show you! I got this sweet tattoo the other day!" My bad conscience exclaimed.
"It's a fire breathing dragon? Haha! Sweet dude! How about we talk about tattoos for me. I was thinking about doves or a cute penguin!" My good conscience admired.
"Yassssss queen! I know this dude down at-" I slapped away both consciences. "Great help you gave me there." I rolled my eyes at both of them. "Hey. Are you okay?" The good looking boy asked me. I smiled at him before he continued. "You kind of spaced out there." He laughed. " I'm sorry. What were you saying?" I asked him with a small giggle.
"We'll look at you trying to flirt." My bad conscience said before raising her eyebrows. "Oh shut up will you." I muttered under my breath. "What did you say?" The boy asked me. " Oh nothing." I gave him a toothy smile. "My name's Liam Carter by the way." He introduced himself and held his hand out for me to shake. "Hi. My name is Ember Lewis. Nice to meet you Liam." I took his hand and shook it.
"I'm going to the cafeteria. Do you want to come?" He asked politely. "Umm…yeah I guess." I said hesitantly. "Great. I'll place your bag next to mine if you like." He said. "Ok. No problem." I said before giving him it. He took it willingly and went back into class. I watch from the door as he placed it next to his bag at the back of the class.
Well this day started off…very…oddly. "I heard they bully people in this school. You better watch out deary." My good conscience advised me. "Thanks. I'll be cautious." I said before she disappeared. Let's hope I'm not that new girl they bully. Especially with my Nia in another school. God I miss that air head.
