{UNDER EDITING!!}

1st POV:

I could already tell that today is going to be terrible. I believe this because of 2 things: my agonizing alarm clock and that it is first day of the new school year (which means I have to meet the new enrolling students. I fear this more than the missions for Lord Death, surprisingly). Reason 2 scares me the most, not because I'm shy (ok. I may just be, but I don't want to admit it), it's because I'm horrible at any kind of social interaction or communication. Worst of all, I'm in Dr. Stein's class (not that I've ever been his student, I just hear stuff about him that gives me nightmares and insomnia for 4 days straight, in fact, I just had a nightmare last night). I'm just really worried that I might screw up (pun intended) anything coming for me.

Tired, I reluctantly hopped out of my blankets and sheets, picked up the clothes that I laid out on the edge of my bed the night before, and then I immediately start my morning by getting dressed for the new day.

After getting ready, I rush out of the house to hear a familiar voice call my name from behind me. "Hey, (Y/n)! How are you? Did you sleep well?" I find that my closest friend, Maka, was waiting for me outside with a big smile on her face. "Oh, yeah. I did." I kinda lied. I woke up by such a loud alarm clock and all night/morning, I feared of what may happen in my new classes, and I also had a nightmare of Dr. Stein. Anyways, Maka, Soul, and I would usually walk to the DWMA together. We don't see each other much at school (we had different classes for a long time. I was also busy with hobbies and training classes [I can't fight well enough to save my life]. We kind of drifted away for a while), I really, really hate being alone, and my friends are the ones I feel most comfortable with since we've been together for a long time. "How was your morning?" I asked her while yawning. "Oh, my morning was wonderful!" Maka frowned a bit, "Wait, are you sure you had a good rest? You sound pretty exhausted. Did your neighbors keep you up all night again?" She questioned me almost suspiciously. My face becomes heated. "...Well, I was, and still am, thinking about my new classes. I fear that I may embarrass myself. Also... I may have had a nightmare last night." My blonde, pigtailed friend chuckles and looks up at me with a kooky smile. "(Y/n), I thought you stopped worrying about that silly stuff years ago. I'm sure no one will make fun of you, and if you embarrass yourself, it's going to be fine. The end of the world probably won't happen until later. Could I see your schedule?" "Sure, I guess..." I pull the white paper out of my pocket and I hand it to her.

We stop walking while Maka scans the sheet of paper. There is immediately a huge smile forming on her face; a face of ecstasy. She gazes at me with her bright, big, green eyes and says something that instantly makes me, too, feel joy, "(Y/n), we finally share some classes!" The last time we shared a class was almost more than 2 years ago (so long!!). "Really?!" I asked, shocked by the great news. "Yeah!" She gives me a high five and I feel a big smile painted on my face since I finally have someone from my friend group to talk to and send notes to in class this year. She hands me back my schedule and we run to school, giggling, before we could get late {yeah, I dunno XD}. Ordinarily, we just talk about random things like our other friends, the news, and/or our missions for Lord Death, though today, we just talked about our new classes and what I should expect in Dr. Stein's classroom.
