{Hey guys!!! Sorry for the long wait. School is drowning me with agonizing homework.. >_< }

                                 Your POV

When school ended, I rushed outside to find clouds above me and cooler breeze (it's always very warm in Death City, so that was refreshing). It was not usually as dark outside, but it was pretty nice to the eyes.

I feel the need for fresh air, so maybe I might hang outside a little more before I go home. I start walking forward without knowing where I'm going. I feel horrible since I can't stop thinking about how I embarrassed myself in Stein's class. I took that way too seriously. Maybe I shouldn't have danced around for a test. {Maybe I should rewrite that entire chapter soon, hah. A little strange of a concept}.

My thoughts were interrupted by a soft sound that I almost didn't hear. I pause. The sounds (from what I could tell) sound like footsteps. Behind me.

Too frightened to look behind, I quickly dash to find a safe or public place around me. I hear the footsteps running too. I think I'm being followed! I can hear them getting louder towards me.

Unfortunately, my tired and shaky legs trip on the pavement. My entire body takes in even more panic (if that's even possible), I think I've become paralyzed. A second later, I hear the person right behind me, the voice is oddly soft but familiar. "(Y-y/n)! Are you ok?" I quickly turn around, transforming my arm into a blade. It covers my face for defense. When I open my eyes, I find the same classmate I sat next to in Stein's class kneeling next to me. "Y-you've f-fallen!! O-oh, I'm so sorry!! I didn't mean to s-scare you!!" It's Crona! His cheeks are speckled dark gray, hand close to me as the other covers his mouth, his eyes are big and filled with worry.

I quickly hide my bladed arm behind my back as it transforms into flesh. "Ah! No, it's ok!! I just tripped, you didn't scare me." I try comforting him, playing it off as it's nothing. Crona's worried expression doesn't leave his face, "Are you sure?" "Yes, I am." I giggle. "Again, I'm s-sorry! I don't know how to deal with this I-" He gasps as his face lights up, "I'll h-help you up!" He immediately grabs my hand with a lot of force, trying to stand me up from sitting on the pavement. Shocked by how strong he is, I fall into his shoulders. The shy boy jumps back, startled from the close contact. "S-sorry," we both apologize at the same time. An awkward moment passes, but I couldn't hold in the laughter. I laughed and laughed, I never had such strange contact with a boy before. Crona's head lifts up as his eyes look in mine, sad, pretty eyes are replaced with a pleasant surprise and grayer cheeks. "Huh?" "Nothing!" I reply. After the laugher dies down, Crona handed me my notebook. "I c-came to hand you this! You l-left it in Stein's class.." I feel flushed, almost embarrassed. "Oh, thanks." I take it from his hands. "I should probably g-go now..." His hand waves awkwardly as he turns to walk away. "Oh.." I'm a little disappointed, "I know that you might have to go, which is fine, but if it's ok by you," I walk over to carefully entwine my fingers with his. "How about we get to know each other?." I smile wide. Unfortunately, this seemed to startle him. "Oh, I didn't mean to startle you, I-" He cuts me off. "N-no, I'm fine. I would love to.." He answers quietly while staring at our hands, smiling a little. We start walking.

While talking, we eventually encounter a park near us. "Oh, look! Wanna go to the park with me?" He hesitantly nods. I pick up my pace, hurrying for the swings while Crona follows. "Aw yeah! I haven't been on these in a looong time!" I say as joy fills my soul. "That's n-nice." Crona mumbles as he studies the swings and sits on the seat next to me. I start swinging high, which apparently steals Crona's attention. He's sitting on the swing, nudging his fingers, but isn't swinging at all. "Hey dude, you know how to swing, right? Don't tell me you don't." I asked, almost jokingly. "W-we'll, I don't r-really know how...." he mumbles and looks down at his lap. "Oh, it's no worry really. I could teach you if you want?" I offer. He looks up and gives me a rather surprised look, "Are you sure you could do that?" "Yeah! No worries!" He smiles sweetly, you could tell his usual expressions would've held something more unhappy. "T-that would be nice, actually. Thank you..." I give him a big smile and then I jump off the swing to help him. When I land on the ground, Crona warns me to be careful. I giggle a little. "Don't worry, I'm not going to break my legs." I walk over to Crona. "Soon enough you're gonna find how much fun these are! Now here's the trick to swinging..."

{Now I really want to go on the swings, heh. {Edit: IM ON QUARANTINE, FuU-} I haven't been in a playground for a long time to be honest. XD I hope I didn't get you readers upset for all the time it took to make this update. I'll try to keep updates weekly, but just know that school might try to lengthen my 'writing schedule'. Next chapter will hopefully come next week!}
