Tears dripped down from the end of Sophie's damp nose, falling towards the ground, soaking the stone.

Despair clawed her insides, crawling up her sore throat.

She would do anything, anything to hear his voice again.

Anything.

A noice interrupted the otherwise still cavern, footsteps echoing on the cold floor. But Sophie didn't care.

All she could think about was Keefe.

"Hello Sophie."

Sophie stared at the ground, watching the crystals trapped in the stone glimmer in the dim light.

She peered closer at the floor; it wasn't exactly solid- it was sort of... clear.

And a handle of some sort gleamed continuously under that stone.

Squinting, Sophie leaned closer to get a better look.

"Sophie, remember me?"

She ignored the voice.

"Sophie, I am here to rescue you."

With that, a bracelet of heart charms dropped into her lap.

Sophie blinked, recognizing the familiar design.

Glancing up, she squinted at the figure who stood before her, his hair illuminated by the luminous light of the softly glowing crystals. A brisk breeze came out of nowhere, ruffling the boy's hair, and swirling around his light gold tunic. Light streamed out from behind him, his silhouette black against the brightness.

Sophie gasped.

The glob of drool dripping from his soggy lips shone in the brilliance, the same as ever.

Valin.
