Eyven's POV

It was Friday morning, habang nasa library ako, nilapitan ako ni Rain,

Rain: ven..

Ven: yes?

Rain: meron kasing poem competition this coming Monday, wanna give it a try?

Ven: theme?

Rain: kahit ano, free verse lang naman,

Ven: may prize?

Rain: yes…

Ven: ano?

Rain: recognition…

Ven: fine then, mag-isa ka ata? Nasaan sila?

Rain: SILA o SIYA?

Ven: whatever,

Rain: by the way, may meeting tayo mamaya sa library okay?
Ven: kay~

Poem huh? I wonder who are the members of this poetry are,

After the class, we held our meeting in the library… with the unexpected members

Rain: okay, let’s start the meeting, oh, we have a new member, guys this is ven,

Kiefer: nice to meet you, I’m Kiefer Fuentes, the president of the poetry club,

Liza: nice to meet you, I am the secretary, Liza

Eyven: (what the heck? ) umm..  Wait.. I thought Rain is the Leader?

Rain: I’m sorry, I lied.. *whispering (alam kong di ka papayag sumali sa club kapag nalaman mong si Kiefer ang President, sorry~)

Eyven: *whispering  (you’re such a liar!)

Holy crap! I knew it! Why? Why? Bakit kailangan mangyari saken to?! Bakit?! I don’t think makakapag-concentrate ako neto sa meeting, knowing that my love is in front of me!

So the meeting went well and as expected, di ako nakapag concentrate,

Kiefer: ven? Don’t be shy to approach me if may kaylangan ka okay? I’ll be your friend,

Friend? Yea right, I’m just a friend..

Ven: o-okay, thanks..

So that night, I started writing my poem, Rain said that I need to pass it to Kiefer, meron nakong rason para makalapit sakanya…

KAIBIGAN

Sampung taon ang agwat
Ng pag-ibig ko sayo
Sampung taon ang bigat
Ng pagtitiis ko

Damdaming ‘di masabi sayo
Dahil takot ang puso kong
Malaman mo ang
Lihim na pagtingin sayo

“Mapapnsin mo din ako”
Pinakamasakit na salita
At kasinungalingan na
Sinabi ko sa sarili ko

Pinaramdam mong
Importante ako
Pero naramdaman kong
‘di ako ang priority mo

Gusto kong sabihin na
Huwag mokong ilayo sayo
Kaso naalala ko
KAIBIGAN LANG PALA AKO.
