Chapter 17 || Hang out

Your POV

I returned home the next day.

"Y/n-ah!You're home!How's uncle,auntie and Chae-un?"
Yeongmin asked as she helped me with my bags.

I gave her the thumbs up as i headed to the kitchen to get a glass of water.

"You know..there's something in your room..given by someone~"
Yeongmin said whilst gesturing me to head to my room.

I raised my brows and wondered what was it and who gave it to me.

As I entered the room i saw a bouquet of flowers.

Dear y/n,

I'm glad the drama has died down:) Thanks for being such an understanding person :)) Anyways,do you wanna maybe..hang out next week?

I choked on my water as i read the letter

"Awwwhhh!"
I hadn't realised Yeongmin was behind me.
She shook and swayed me,"He's asking you out!!"
She said excitedly.

I rolled my eyes and scoffed,"It's not a date."
She gave me a smirk as i lightly punched her arm.

I took out my phone and walked out of the room

I was taken aback.I hadn't realised Yeongmin was reading all of it from my shoulder.

"Yah!How long have you been standing there?"
I said as i messed up her hair.

She smirked and me,"Yeaahh~ Totally not a date."She sarcastically said.

I rolled my eyes and went into my room.

Next Saturday

I opened my eyes as the sunlight hit my face.
I stretched and headed to the bathroom.
I washed my face and put my hair up in a messy bun.

I went into the kitchen and started making breakfast.
After i made breakfast,i called Yeongmin out to the table.

"Sooo today's your date,"
Yeongmin smirked as she poured a glass of milk.

"It's not a date,"
I said as i shoved my "perfectly" cooked eggs into my mouth.

After breakfast I decided to exercise to kill time.

Time skip

It was almost 4p.m. and i had just finished putting on my clothes.
I sprayed perfume on my neck and wrists.

I wore my shoes and ah..perfect timing.
The doorbell rang.

I opened the door and saw Yoongi in casual clothes showing his gummy smile.

My heart started to beat faster and faster.

He led me to his car and he started the car.

We both arrived..at a basketball court?

He opened the car door for me and gestured for me to get out.

He took out his basketball and started to spin it,"You like basketball,don't you?"

"..Yeah..How did-"

He grabbed my hand and we both went to the basketball court.

"Let's play?First to 5 wins?"
He asked passing me the basketball.

"It's on."
I said whilst grabbing the basketball.
I put my hair up to a high ponytail.

"When i win..give me a chance to court you."
He said.
My eyes widened as he snatched the ball away from me.

"When i win,you treat me to an expensive restaurant,arresso?"

I scoffed and we started to play until it was 4 vs 4.

Woohoo two free throws!

First free throw.
Damn it i missed.

Just as i was about to throw the ball,Yoongi interrupted me.

Yoongi POV

"Close your eyes and throw."
I said,interrupting y/n.

She closed her eyes and threw the ball.
I grabbed the ball in time and threw it in the hoop.

She opened her eyes and she cheered after seeing the ball go through the hoop.
She went over to me and danced around me,sticking her tongue out as i scoffed.

I squeezed her cheeks and she pinched my nose.

It doesn't matter if i win and get to court you..as long as i get to see your face.

We both got in the car and i drove her to a restaurant nearby.

I let her choose any song to play on the radio.
Of course she chose,Im Fine.

She started to dance and sing to it.
I smiled as she tried to rap my part.
Tried.
