Chapter 20 || Basketball drama

Your POV,The next day

I went back to work as usual.
I looked at the time.

Huh..Yoongi usually comes at this time..where is he?

I continued working whilst hoping Yoongi could walk into the cafè but unfortunately,he didn't.

As days passed,Yoongi hadn't been in the cafè.
Was he ignoring me?

I put down my phone and sighed.
I went back home and took a quick shower.

As i got out of the shower,i made dinner.
Just as i've finished making dinner,Yeongmin got home from work.
Yes,she works.As a nurse.

"Ooooh yummy"
She said as she sniffed the air that has been filled with the delicious smell of korean steak.

I chuckled and gestured her to come sit down.

She removed her shoes and ran to the table like a little kid.

"Hey,this weekend's basketball game..wanna come?I heard Yoongi's gonna be there."
Yeongmin said while smirking.

I rolled my eyes,"Jinjja?"

"Yoongi never told you?"
She said whilst thrusting the food into her mouth.

"Slow down,woman.And no...he didn't.He hasn't been at the cafè either.Why???Is he ignoring me?"
I responded,putting a little amount of food into my mouth.

"Woah.Did you guys have a fight?"
She asked as she wiped the sauce around her mouth.

"No.That's just it.I don't know why he's not going to the cafè anymore.and he doesn't reply my texts."
I explained.

"Then let's go to that basketball game."
She said,smiling.

Your POV,This weekend

Yeongmin and I got ready for the basketball game and left.

We took our seats when we got there.

"Heyyyyy!Y/n!I didn't know you'd be here!"
Jimin said as he waved at me.

I smiled back.

"YAH YOONGI!Y/N IS HERE!"
He shouted to Yoongi.

I looked over to Yoongi and it looks like Jimin's statement fell on deaf ears.

My smile turned into a frown.

"Hey y/n"
I looked over to my left to see Eunho.

"Eunho..?What are you doing here?"
I asked him.

"Oh..one of my friends is playing,so i came to support him."
He explained as I nodded.

Yeongmin noticed Eunho and shot him a glare.

The game has begun.

Everytime one of the teams scored,each side of the arena went wild.

I cheered for Yoongi and his team despite him ignoring me.

As the game was going on,and Yoongi scored,i felt a sharp pain at the back of my head.

Flashback

"Yoongi.Congrats on making the basketball team.I never knew you could make it."
I said whilst patting his back.

"Thanks.and why is that?"
He asked.

"Cause you're short."
I said trying to stifle my laughter.

"Says the one shorter than me!"
He said as he chased me around the garden.

Present

"Y/n,are you okay?"
Eunho asked.

"Y-yeah."
I said as I Caressed the back of my head.

When was that?
Had I finally remembered something?

Yoongi POV

As i was playing the game,one of the guys from the opposite team tried to mess with me.

"Oh hey it's Yoongi.The famous rapper idol.and player.I heard you've been playing with girls' hearts,haven't you?"
He said.

"Shut up!"
I said as I tried to push him aside,but to no avail.

He tried to get into my face once again.
I had enough as just pushed him away.

The referee blew the whistle and i was benched.

Fortunately,we won the game.

Your POV

After the game,I decided to look for Yoongi so that i could talk to him.

Jimin said he went out of the arena to get a breath of fresh air.

When i went out of the arena,i saw Yoongi.
He threw..Eunho onto the ground and punched him.

"Eunho!"
I shouted as i ran over to him.
"What happened?"

"I don't know..when i went to congratulate him on his win and all of the sudden he started punching me."
Eunho replied.

"BULLSHIT!"
Yoongi shouted.I looked at him and i could see fire in his eyes.

"Yoongi!Whatever it was.You should've have used your FIST!"
I shouted at him.

He was in complete shock.
"You're going to stand up for this jerk?"

I looked to the ground.

He scoffed and walked away.

"Eunho..are you okay?"
I asked him.

"Yeah.Thanks."
He replied.
