"so you think you know me?" I test.
"yeah, I think I do" he smirks, towering over me.
"then you must have misinterpreted me from someone else" I wink and start walking away.
"Jack! Hurry your slow ass up!" I yell from the bottom of his stairs.
"Chill, I'm coming! You're gonna make me deaf one day I swear to god." He respond while coming down the stairs laughing a little.
I roll my eyes, "We've got to pick up Mia and Johnson," I stop to check my phone for the time, "and we have 30 minutes until the appointment, they all live on different sides of LA."
I grab Jack's arm and drag him out of the house and into his Jeep. Today we were going apartment shopping for me. I still wanted to be in the LA area, considering we're graduating soon and I wanted to go to UCLA if my modeling career doesn't take off like I wanted it to.
we pick up everyone with 7 minutes to spare and drive off to the first appointment we have to look at the new places. I knew I wanted an apartment instead of a house, because there is no way I would be able to live in a big house with no one with me. So I prefer my own little living space. LA doesn't really have a bunch of houses anyways, not right in the city anyways.

We arrive to the first apartment complex. This is the first one out of three that we are going to see today. "Hey, sorry we're late. My boyfriend was taking forever." I laugh apologetically to the real estate agent.
"That's alright love, I'm Lisa." She holds out her hand to shake and I accept.
"Oh, uhm this is Jack, Mia and Johnson." I introduce them. They all shake hands with her and we continue.
"This is the first apartment that we will be going to look at." Lisa says. I nod my head and we all follow her inside. I look around and see that the place had a very modern feel to it. Everything was white and plain boring. I honestly didn't like it from the moment I saw, but I didn't want to be rude and be like 'lol nah this is ugly bye' I wanted an apartment that has some character to it. I wanted it to have a little bit of modern in it, but not like it was from the future like this.

We continue to look around a little more, "Do you like it?" Jack asks beside me. I shrug my shoulders in response, not pleased.
He laughs a little, "It's not my thing either."
"Really? I took you as the modern, futuristic type." Surprise obviously clear in my voice.
"Yeah, I mean I would want a place that has character, but has only a little bit of modern in it." He shrugs. I decide to not tell him that I feel the same way about, I didn't want to give him the satisfaction that he and I were practically the same person, but at the same time, we couldn't be anything but opposites.
I shake off my thoughts, "I'm not really feeling this one" I tell Lisa. She nods and suggests we move to the next apartment complex.
