Olivia's POV
Today is the day of the Homecoming game, which means there's a pep rally during the school day. I've always found them irrelevant and annoying, but I have to participate because I'm part of the girls basketball team.
Each sports team at our school dresses in a themed costume, so our team all decided on a tie dye theme. I have a tie dye shirt on and then a tie dye bandana on my head. (if you know, you know)
Our team is lined up and ready to run out into the gym so I put on a fake smile. We all run out pumping our fists and chanting, while the rest of the school on the bleachers go crazy for some reason.
We stand next to another team and wait for the other teams to run out. The boys basketball team runs out chanting as well. I laugh as soon as I see their theme, frat boys. They're all shirtless, wearing snapbacks, ties and khaki shorts.
I look and see all the boys standing next to each other. Jack, Johnson, Sammy, and Nate. I look at Jack and he looks at me and smirks, I blow him a kiss. I look over and see Derek looking at me, my face falls and he sends me a wink. Chills run through my body and I feel uncomfortable.
"Alright guys, we're going to be doing a relay race. You have spin around the baseball bat 20 times, run to the end of the gym and run back. Then the next person goes, whoever finishes through their team first wins!" The principal explains.
It's the girls basketball team against the boys basketball team. Their cocky asses don't know what's coming for them.
The race starts and we're halfway through, no one's beating anyone and no one's losing, so it's tied. Everyone on the bleachers laugh because some of us would stumble or fall over. It was hilarious to see if I'm being quite honest.
I'm next waiting for the girl in front of me to touch my hand, I look over and see Jack is up next and I laugh to myself, little fucker purposely cut in front of the others to race me. The girl touches my hand as does the guy on the other team.
I spin around the bat 20 times, I drop it and attempt to start running. I stumble a little and everyone laughs, I do too. I'm almost to the end of the gym and I look back to see Jack on the floor. I laugh, and continue to run. The dizziness subsides and I can run properly now and I run back and touch the next girls hand.
Jack eventually gets back up and runs the rest of the way. He reaches the next guys and then jogs over to me. "You're such a clutz" I laugh at him.
"Don't be mean to me." He pouts.
"I looked back and saw you were just on the floor" I say, trying to stop laughing.
"Ha ha ha" He says.
I calm my laughter and walk closer to him, grabbing his tie and play with it a little, "You know, I'm really digging this whole look." I say.
"Oh really." Jack looks down at me.
I pull him closer by his tie and give him a kiss. "Mhmm" I mumble against his lips.
I pull away and smirk at him and pay attention to the rest of the pep rally.

I stand at the bathroom mirror, cleaning most of the pie off of my face that Jack threw at me. To say the least I was mad at him, but I got my revenge. I had pulled him into a kiss, making everyone scream on the bleachers. I then wiped my entire face onto his, making him messy as well.
I space out and smile to myself, only to have someone interrupt. A hand slams down next to me and I look up to see Madison smirking at me.
"So," she starts, "you really think Jack likes you that much?"

Romance"so you think you know me?" I test. "yeah, I think I do" he smirks, towering over me. "then you must have misinterpreted me from someone else" I wink and start walking away.
