"Try doing that if you want,"I say confidently.

He bends down a little, his hands taking hold of my body. His current position makes it easier for me to pull him down. I hold on to his arm dragging him down along with me. A huge wave engulfs us he looses his posture and falls beside me. I wipe my face, tucking all the strands of hair sticking to my face behind my ear before giggling at him.

"You shouldn't leave the beach without getting into the water,"I say cheerfully.

He simply sighs as he shifts uncomfortably. He then stands as he walks out of the water. Is he angry?
Did he not plan on getting into the water?
I frantically follow behind him.
"I'm sorry,"I apologize.

He doesn't speak. He must be angry. He stops on his tracks. Turning around, now facing me, he stares at me with cold eyes. He walks closer and I mindlessly move backward.

He scoops me up in his arm and my mind goes blank. It takes me some time to process what he is doing.

"Got you!" He whispers to me.

"Not again,"I cry.

"Yah! Let me down," I plead.

"No can do,"he smirks.

He walks into the water. I expect him to drop me just like the first time. I shut my eyes and mentally prepare myself to be immersed in salty water but nothing happens. I slightly open an eye and find him staring at me with a mischievous smile. Once I fully open my eyes he lets go of me. The water once again splashes and my clothes that were already soaked in water are now once again met with the salty water.

"You should keep your eyes open when you fall,"he says before running away.

What kind of logic is that?

"Yah!you littl-" I scream as I push myself from the ground and try my best to stand steadily in the moving water. Once I gain my posture I run behind him. But he is already too far away. No use. Let's just rest.

I walk towards where our bags are placed. Picking up my towel I sit on the mat which we had laid out before.
I slowly dry me hair. The salty breeze helps to calm me down. I remember those day when me and my sister enjoyed building sand castles. We often visited the beach and while our parents relaxed, we pleased ourselves with building little structures which we called a castle.

Jimin walks with heavy steps towards me. He sits down beside me.

"Let's build a sand castle,"the words leave my mouth without much processing.

"Woah! Was that the same chaey who was chasing me a while back?"

"Chaey?" I ask, surprised with the sudden nickname.

"Chaeyoung is too long,"he smiles sheepishly.

I nod my head and smile at his words. That's how he called me and the fact that I was happy over how Jimin wanted to call me the same way made me question myself.

Had I moved on?
