Ceres

As I locked myself to the library, I kept reading old scriptures that could explained about the kids' bond and still nothing. I was getting frustrated just by reading until I noticed a black book where the etching on the cover was very much detailed and it's written...

"Salem..." I mumbled as I tried to recall someone from my past who has the same name.

At first, I couldn't pictured it out while I'm scanning the book until I saw a sketched of a young lady that looked so familiar. When I looked at the bottom there was a scripture as well the translation of the name but the first name was been smudged since it was an old and the surname was Salem. I sighed defeated since I couldn't recalled the familiar girl in the sketch. I couldn't remember her name but I know somewhere within me that I already met this person. It just felt like something was forcely been removed from my memories.

'In some time, we'll meet under the light of full blood moon...'

I was on my deep thought when I heard it and just by that I almost fell from my seat. I was surprised since it felt like it was been whispered to my ears just now.

"That voice...same voice as Nyx but not..." I mumbled as I tried to calm my palpitating heart when I heard it.

"...who are you then?" I asked myself that made me glanced back at the sketch on the book.

I went back on my reading as I let that thought behind my mind and let myself focused on understanding the bond of the kids since it was new me but at the same time, not so much.

"I wonder if I really do encountered someone like them before." I thought to myself as I felt Frizabelle a bit shaken up and angry but she managed to control them.

I sighed as I smiled since Frizabelle was learning on how to deal with her temper. I kept reading and not minding that I skipped lunch or even spend some time to bond with the kids on their training. I was so damned focus on reading when they both jumped from my back that made my face hit the table. There was a loud thud that cause of my bleeding head.

"Oh, we're sorry mom." They immediately apologized to me with their cuteness that made me chuckled and hugged them.

"Its okay, I healed. See?" I assured them as they watched how quickly I healed myself then my stomach began to complain.

They both laughed at me and they began to dragged me toward the kitchen to eat dinner since the others already did. I was the only one who wasn't taking any meal for today. My stomach was indeed complaining and too much hunger wasn't the best idea because I need gallon of blood. I sighed as I took three bottle of preserved blood from the fridge and drunk them in one go.

The kids were laughing at me but I just smiled back at them before eating the remaining food on the table.

"Celes, we're going." Ashley said to me while I was eating my full course meal.

"Where to?" I asked while I munching raw steak in my mouth.

"Maybe around north. Why?" she replied as well asked me.

"Hmm, if you crossed with my cousin Rean Aspire, tell her to check on the L estate." I replied since I have to ask some favor.

"Okay, we're off." She said then she left with her family.

When they left, I'm already done eating then I cleaned before I took the kids to the bath to change into their pajamas. We played at the tub before heading back to the room as they also talked about their training with the others. I was feeling happy since they were getting along with everyone in this pack. I was relief. When we're done cleaning up, the kids asked me to play scrabble with them until they felt sleepy.
