I knocked on the door to the Hokage's office and heard him tell me to come in. The only lion I brought with me was Edele, as he was the leader. I entered the room and the Hokage looked at Edele weirdly. He looked up to me. "Last time I saw one of those was before the massacre of the Saban'na Clan, but that was five years ago," he muttered. I smiled at him. "I am here to explain where I've been for half a decade, you probably aren't that interested now, but you will be when I introduce myself." I spoke up. "Well, go ahead, child, tell me your name." I smiled at him, and announced, "my name is Hana Saban'na." His eyes widened. "That isn't possible, all the Saban'na's were wiped out mysteriously, on the same night as the Uchihas." I tried to keep my cool. "I am the daughter of the head, on the night of the massacre my lions were guarding me. Screams were heard echoing throughout the house and my father ran into the room, cradling my mother's dead body. He told my lions to take me to where we came from, and that is where I stayed for a while." He nodded, actually believing me. "We were informed that your clan originated in Sunagakure, is that the truth, is that where you were?" I shook my head. "No that isn't the truth, in fact we didn't even originate in this world, Edele, care to explain to the Lord Hokage as you did to me?" He nodded and I quickly did a jutsu allowing others to understand him. "The Saban'na clan originated in a place in Africa, which is part of a world named Earth. In Africa, there are areas called Savannahs, these are the places where my kind live. The people of the Saban'na clan were people from Africa who discovered a close connection between them and the animals of the Savannah. The animals told them the secrets of our universes and they wished to see the places described. It took them all fifteen years to get here, but they soon fell in love with it. They learnt of all the places and decided to settle here in Konoha, being mainly in love with the amount of trees, as there are very few where they were from, and all of them looked different. Their connection to us continued through generations, and the only way to explain it was as a kekkei genkai, which wasn't actually possible for them to have, as they aren't from here, but what else could they say? Using their knowledge from their own world, they worked their way to the top, until they were forced to plummet." Edele explained in a mainly neutral part except for the end, where it turned dark. The Hokage nodded. "We never knew you animals could talk, none ever did within my company or any clan outsiders. Most villagers and shinobi never met them or knew of their existence. For six months, you will train with Mighty Guy's team, and afterwards join the graduating class at the ninja academy." I nodded, with my face maintaining a neutral look, while inside I was freaking out. The Hokage smiled at me. "Your clan's compound was kept as a sort of memorial, I can't promise that it'll be in any good condition, but if you wish, you can stay there." I nodded. "Thank you Lord Hokage." I was leaving the room with Edele trailing behind, when the Hokage spoke up again. "Also, Hana, how did you know I was a Hokage?" I froze, realizing the mistake I'd made.
I turned around to face the Hokage and coughed sheepishly. I wasn't sure how he'd take this. "Let me just show you," I said meekly, pulling out my phone. He started at it, confused, but didn't say anything. Before I started the first episode, I gave him a warning, "whatever you do, don't tell Naruto." He looked confused. "Why not?" He asked. "Because he'll get a way too big ego boost," I explained and he nodded. I started playing the first episode. After the first episode, he seemed to understand. He didn't say anything, just called for someone to escort me to my clan's compound. He advised I didn't tell anyone who I truly was and I nodded. Soon me and the pride were walking towards are home that we should've been living in all along. The shinobi, who I recognized, (Asuma and Kakashi,) stopped at a small building in front of a huge cliff. "This is as far as we can take you," Asuma said apologetically. "Anyone who ever tried to get farther ended up being brutally ripped in half and found a couple days later. Whatever the Hokage wants you here for, good luck." I smiled and waved as they left. In entered the small house, which seemed to be a lobby of sorts. It had a door on the back wall, which faced the cliff. I took a deep breath and opened the door, hoping not to meet my demise. To my surprise, I saw a multitude of different animals, ranging from cheetahs, to elephants, to hawks, to mice, all parting as I walked by them. I heard my lions release cheers of happiness and run towards the end of the hall. Curious, I followed them, and found them cuddled up with other lions, I guess they were their parents. Two looked around in sorrow, before turning to me. "Excuse me Lady Hana, do you know where our two daughters, Sagte and Spieel are?" One asked politely and I nodded, before I choked on air. "Lady Hana?" I questioned. "You are the head of the Saban'na family, are you not?" She asked. I nodded. "Then you are to be given a title. Your mother was Lady Tsuyio, and your father Lord Hasamu, it is your duty to take their titles." I nodded, smiling. I was surprised by the name, it's weird being called Lady Hana. Anyway, I opened the door at the end of the hallway and was shocked into silence at the beauty. It was a handmade savannah nearly as big as an actual one, with a village running through it. Surrounding the whole thing, or as far as I could see, was what looked like a tunnel, but I soon realized it was as a wide as house, I'm guessing it's the head's house. Edele signalled me to follow as the lions roared and ran into distance. Without hesitating, I followed, and soon discovered I could run just a bit faster than all of them. I looked at my feet in surprise, I was the worst runner at my school.... I shrugged it off and followed the lions, to a rock that looked almost identical to Pride Rock from the Lion King. The lions climbed up it and I followed. You could see all the way to the other side of the savannah, I gasped. Surrounding the house was a giant cliff that was so high, even birds couldn't fly over, this rock reached just under that. "This is where we live, it's our job to watch the other animals and make sure they don't take too much prey and aren't in need of more, we keep the harmony here." I nodded, I didn't like that such wonderful creatures ate each other, but they have to in order to live. I felt a pain in my stomach tattoo and saw a little cub curled up next to who I assume to Edele added to the tattoo, I focused my chakra on the glowing lions, and they soon appeared, along with a little cub. Edele noticed their arrival and immediately rushed over. He nuzzled Sagte and she smiled. Spieel nudged her and she turned to the cub. "His name, I decided for it to be Sal when he proves himself worthy of one." I smiled at them and little Sal, he is to be the next leader. Edele nodded. "I can't wait for that day." Just then, cub, as I have to call Sal until he earns his name, decided he wasn't getting enough attention, because he bit Sagte's paw. She squeaked and looked down at him, and saw him trying to climb her. She laughed and picked him up in her jaws. He made small noises of excitement as she showed his around, while Edele looked on adoringly. Deciding to leave them alone, I entered the place that would soon be my home. It was beautifully decorated in a modern Japanese style with family pictures everywhere. I went to grab something from a shelf, when I realized I couldn't reach it. I looked at myself, puzzled, I should easily be able to reach that, I'm tall for my age. I looked in a mirror and noticed my twenty two year old self was not staring back at me, but an twelve year old girl with long, dusty blonde hair and beautiful born eyes. It was then I realized that I was seven when my family was killed, and that was five years ago. If I was truly twenty two, then wouldn't I've been eighteen when my family died? Maybe we mature sooner in this world, and so I was made older when I entered my one. I decided to leave it at that, because if I didn't I wouldn't stop puzzling over it. I grabbed a hairbrush and styled my brown hair and put it in a plait. I looked at the sky, and realized it was getting dark, so I put on some pyjamas and went to bed in a room that was most likely my parent's, dreaming of my new life.
