"Edgar, have you seen Alan? I can't find him anywhere. I'm worried." You say to Edgar who's sitting in his room working on a new stake.
"He's in the basement."
You knew one thing; if someone was in the basement, you knew either (1) they were a vampire or (2) they're in transition.
You walk back downstairs to the basement and grab a baseball bat from the cupboard, holding it by your side. You crack the door open and hold it up Incase something decides to attack you.
A growl comes from underneath you.
"Y/N, don't come down here. It's not safe."
"Alan?"
"Don't! I can't have you down here!"
You walk down anyways and meet his red eyes. You freeze and your breath locks in your throat.
"Alan, I know you can hear me. I know you wouldn't ever hurt me. Please if you can wait to let the vampire blood out of your system then do it."
"Get out!" He chases you upstairs till you lock the deadbolts keeping him in.
