Let's see if you can guess who's POV this is in
The girl-in-black and leather, waltzes through the comic book store doors, avoiding the gazes of any stern-looking passerby. She skims through a random comic before moving onto the next, looking for a specific one; a Batman #14, one of the most legendary comics of all.
Alan and Edgar stare curiously at the girl, her black hood hiding any familiar traces of her. A silver and navy belly-button ring shimmered, drawing Alan's attention from her uniquely-colored, tie-dyed hair. She picks up another comic book, setting her $10 cash on the counter. "Keep the change." She shuffles out of the store, but Alan can't seem to get the mysterious girl out of his head.
That night, Alan seems pretty distracted. The girl enters the store again, this time with a flyer in her hand. "It says you guys are hiring. I'd be happy to give y'all a hand."
"What's your name?" Alan starts to feel a strange connection towards her.
"Astrid. You're Alan, right?" He nods. "And Edgar?" Edgar hums a 'yes'.
"Cool. It'll be good to work with new faces."
The Boys made sure Astrid stayed out of trouble that night with the hunters.
