i stood out in front of the school building waiting for them to dismiss the kids. i couldn't wait to see isla. it had been so long.
when i heard the announcements come on i was very excited. grayson stood by my side hugging me tightly.
the bell rang and all the little kids started sprinting out the doors to their parents, babysitters or siblings. i had saw isla run out looking everywhere. when she saw me grayson let go.
"jack!" she ran at me and i bent down on my knee letting her into my embrace.
"hey baby," i whispered.
"jack, i cant believe your here. i missed you so much!"
"i missed you too princess,"
"hey isla,"
"grayson!"
she let go of me and wrapped her arms around mine and grayson's neck trying to hug us both. i chuckled dryly.
"wanna go get some ice cream?" i asked.
"you bet!"
