When you read the story, please be aware that Arslan is in his early 20's as the story starts. In the Anime show he starts out as a 14 year old boy, but in this story he is a young adult. Anyways, enjoy! :)

Once upon a time there was a kingdom. It was known as the kingdom of Zigohar. This story takes place long before this magnificent kingdom grew. But did it prosper? Or fall? You will learn as the story is told.

The kingdom was in need of a king long ago. They didn't have one and life was a struggle for the people.

But one day, an exiled lone prince, sails upon the land of Zigohar. He was in his early twenties, had shoulder length silver hair and gentle blue eyes.

He was the prince of the kingdom of Pars. Years ago he had been fighting to take back his kingdom from the Lusitanians, an enemy to his kingdom, but then there was also his cousin who also desired the same throne as he did.

They fought for it but Arslan lost the duel against his cousin and the throne was his, and Arslan was exiled from Pars.

"If you ever show your miserable face here again, I will see it through that you are executed on the spot." His cousin gritted his teeth together and glared.

So Arslan had no choice but to leave his home kingdom.

But once the prince discovered the kingdom of Zigohar, everyone was begging for Arslan to become their king.

The Zigohar kingdom was lost without a king. They needed someone to help guide them.

Arslan decided after all the warm hospitality the people of Zigohar offered him, to agree to become their king.

Arslan now lived inside a huge castle and today many of the people of the kingdom of Zigohar was coming to his castel to greet him. Some who came were arriving for business about the castle and kingdom.

Arslan was upstairs however, in a nervous wreck. He never thought becoming king in a kingdom he only just arrived in would be so easy. They basically gave it away to him for free! But...he is still a bit naive about worldly matters and doesn't quite understand what it means to be a wise ruler... How to be a Good king.

And without Narsus and Daryun by his side, this made things much more difficult for the new king of Zigohar.

Narsus and Daryun were two of his loyal companions who accompanied him during his journey to reclaim Pars.

They ended up succeeding in their mission however. Pars was taken back from the Lusitanians, however, Hilmes took back the throne instead and exiled Arslan and threatened if he ever dared to set foot in the kingdom of Pars again, he would see it through that he would be killed.

Arslan began to wonder what ever happened to his two dearest friends. Did they escape? Or were they taken prisoner by Hilmes? If they were, they would most likely be executed since they were allies of his. But Arslan decided to simply believe that they survived the battle and escaped.

Arslan eventually tries to snap out of his thoughts and smile in front of his royal mirror. Yes, royal. The mirror is royal since it belongs to king Arslan.

He tries to put a smile on to his face so he will look good in front of his visitors who are also people of his new kingdom. He couldn't be thinking about negative things at a time of joy. The people of this kingdom are happy and joyful to now have a ruler. He mustn't sour the atmosphere with his worries.

He coughs a little roughly for several moments before heading down.

Everyone in this universe has their own fatal flaw. Arslan's is where he gets sick very easily. What causes him to be feeling sick? The fact that he's nervous as the new king to the kingdom of Zigohar, of course! His fit of sickness over the matter was only to last for six or seven hours however. After that time limit, he would be feeling much better.
