“Eren, don't be crazy!! Please, don't jump into the pit! You could get killed!!!” Armin began Eren not to jump.

“Armin, quit faking. I already know you don't care if I get killed. Quit trying to appear as a Good person in front of everyone, yeah?” Eren brushes off Armin’s worried begs as if they were nothing.

“E-Eren...I'm not trying to act like a good person. And I truly am worried for you. I mean, you might not even come back!”

Eren tched under his breath.

“Whatever.” He says before darting towards the pit of judgment and jumping into it.

“Eren, NO!!” Armin screams as he reaches out a outstretched hand for his best friend who had just fallen into the pit of judgment.

Armin immediately begins to scream like a lunatic who just lost their wits.

Everyone who was nearby stares at Armin like he's some sorta crazy psychopath.

(Yes, Armin is doing the infamous Armin scream from Attack on Titan: Episode 5 😂 )

Armin begins to collapse on his knees, grabs his head and continues his ear piercing scream.

“Geez, kid!! Calm down!” Morde hurries over to Armin and grabs his shoulder in reassurance. “You're friend is going to be just fine!”

“NOOOOOOO,NOOOOOOO,NOOOOO!!!!!!!!” Armin screams so loud, and so long, and so ear piercing, he begins to hyperventilate. The poor thing…

But suddenly, from out of the depths of the pit of judgment, Eren comes out! But while holding onto the blue, large and slimy beast for dear life.

EREN!!” Armin cries out, tears rolling down his face.

“A-Armin!? W-what the--” Eren was very astonished to see Armin actually worrying for him. He heard all the screaming, he wondered what it was, but was utterly shocked to discover that it was Armin worrying for Eren. Perhaps in the end he wasn't facking. Perhaps he wasn't pretending to be a good person in front of everyone. Perhaps he truly, was worried about Eren and his well being.

Guilt begins to surge inside of Eren for how cruel and mean he's always been to Armin. But as soon as the guilt came, it left when he realized he had to finish the beast.

Both Eren and the monstrous creature went back into the pit, facing each other off. The next time they came out….Eren was in it's mouth!!

E-EREN, NO!!!!” Armin screams in panic and nearly gives himself a heart attack.

The two went back into the pit. But then…

Eren comes out in one piece! Perhaps he was a little wounded, but alive and standing!

“E-Eren…”

Relief washes over Armin, seeing how his best friend survived.

Tears stained Armin's face, his cheeks and eyes red from how bad he was crying. His throat was swollen badly from all the screaming.

“Armin, are you ok!? You look like your in worst condition than me!” It was Eren's turn to worry now.

“If your alright, then...yeah. I'm ok.” Armin wipes fresh tears away from his eyes.

Eren begins to feel great guilt build up inside of him once more. He wants to apologise for always treating him so terribly and being such a ass all the time, but... apologizing and giving Armin a hug in front of a big audience would

be...sappy.

“Armin...once all of this is all over, I...I want to talk to you. I-In private.” Eren awkwardly says.

“O...Okay?”

Silence fills the area….

“Are they gay?” One peasant calls out.

“N-No!! We are not!” Eren shouts out in both embarrassment and irritation.

But anyways, Eren leaves Armin and goes into the forest with Morde.

Once Eren and Morde makes it into the forest, Eren ask about the armour Morde was originally telling Eren about.

“Ah, yes, the armor. Would you care to learn about the origins of this armor before you do righteous battle with the beast of the forest?”

Eren nods that he is interested.

“Good, I won't take much of your time, but maybe it will help you understand. I grew up not too far from here, actually. I was a shy little boy, but had loving parents and the support of a caring and peaceful village. That was, before the Chillas came. It was night when they came. We heard sounds...short screams that would suddenly halt in a wet gurgle. My father guessed that they liked to go for the throat. Then we heard them outside our own hut. My father was no hunter, but when forced to protect his family he became something different. He fought hard, ending several of the little beasts and never giving up even as they killed him. Mother used her body to shield me from a hurricane of tiny teeth and claws. They died driving away the heard, I survived. That day I vowed to become a Chinchilla-slayer, to rid the world of every last one of the fiends. I learned from the greatest fighters in the world and invented my own anti-Chinchilla fighting form. I forged this armor as a symbol to strike fear into their little hearts. I did these things so that no other child would grow up without his parents.”

Once Morde finished telling Eren his story, Eren heads into the forest to wipe out the Chinchillas. He felt for what Morde had to go through. Eren went through something similar when he was a child.

The Chinchilla had been defeated, and the city was safe once more.

With the help of a mysterious new friend, under-spy Eren had done the impossible. He started a colony of dire Chinchillas in their glowing, soulless eyes, and lived to tell the tale. Eren protected his people from the monsters, saving Zigohar from a horrible fate.
