The Same - Yona of the dawn Fanfic - Zeno x OC (Completed)

1- Rain

Sick. That is what I was, sick. You see I love the rain. It was raining yesterday and I went out there and accidentally fell asleep when I woke up I felt like shit.

So now I was lying there, at home, helplessly allowing my mother and father take care of me.

"How are you feeling kiddo? " My mother asked me

"I feel like I am dying" I responded groaning

"I told you not to play in the rain Yuri. I told you-you would get sick." She gently scolded

I just groaned at that. I didn't care what she said I loved rain. Rain is something that I hold dear to me. Like how could someone not play in the rain?

Throughout this month it has been raining constantly. Even right now the sky was fully covered by thick grey clouds.

The air had the scent that announced rain was to come and the wind was blowing. It was beautiful.

I rolled over to sleep some more wishing I could feel better. Slowly my eyes got heavy and I drifted off to sleep.

I blinked awake. I had slept well but was drenched in sweat due to the humidity.

Surprisingly I felt totally normal. Like maybe the author of my life decided to me a favor... or something like that.

I smiled realizing I was probably over the cold I had. Just then a sound of thunder crashed through the sky and right after it started to pour.

It was like a dam had just been broken. The rain sliced down through the air beating rhythmically. It was beautiful.

Despite just getting better, the fact that it was night time, my parents were asleep, and the fact that would get scolded for this I rushed out the door into the rain.

I spun around laughing and hollering, forgetting about my sleeping parents. I happily allowed my self to get soaked.

Sadly though I was too loud, and woke up my parents.

"Yuri Matsumoto!  Get inside right now!" My mother yelled at me. Dad was behind her with his head in his hand.

I sighed. I was pretty tired still so I decided to do what she said as I turned to go inside a loud boom was heard overhead.

I saw my parents' eyes widen and they were about to yell something when suddenly, all I could see was bright green.  It felt like I was set on fire.

My skin burned and I let out a scream. Then just let that the light disappeared but the pain did not.

My vision blurred and I felt my self-falling. I just barely saw my parents running to me before I blacked out
