9 - Hostage?

"Well... We could kill her" some one murmured.

"Who said that?!" Yona asked standing up "I like Yuri so we can't kill her!"

"Zeno agrees with Yona." Zeno grinned.

Either way I wont I die, but I can feel pain so that was enough for me to decide what to do.

So I decided that the best solution was to run. They seemed nice at first but this conversation is making me rethink hanging out with them.

So I shot up from my spot on the ground and dashed off in a random direction.

Almost instantly I ran in to something, the impact knocked me to the ground.

I looked up to see Hak with his spear pointed at me again.

Just as Hak was about to slice me the fuck up someone stepped in between me and Hak.

Zeno.

"Hak shouldn't hurt the miss. Yuri is Zeno's friend."

"Then what should we do with her?" Hak asked

"Zeno thinks we should keep the miss hostage!" Zeno smiled like it was the best idea ever.

I was about disagree when someone behind me spoke.

"I think Zeno is right, that is the best solution."

I turned to see Yun and the others.

"Hold it!" I shouted "I don't want to be your hostage!"

At my out burst Shin-ah walk over to me and put Ao on my shoulder.

I ignored the precious squirrel to show that I was being serious.

Even though it was quite difficult to ignore the adorable little creature.

Once Shin-ah saw this he frowned and then slowly started to slightly pet my shoulder.

As if he was trying to comfort me but didn't know how to.

A few seconds after Shin-ah started this Zeno yanked me away from him.

Zeno's pov:

We were all trying to determine what to do with Yuri.

I suggested to keep her with us so that Hak wouldn't kill her.

Shortly after I said this Yuri protested against it.

"Hold it" she yelled "I don't want to be your hostage!"

Shin-ah then walked over to her and set Ao on her shoulder.

Surprisingly Yuri turned her head away from the squirrel.

Shin-ah then started to pet her shoulder.

I felt myself get nervous.

I have lived long enough to be able to sort out some emotions easly so I knew exactly how I felt about Yuri.

I liked her a lot. To be honest I love her. And it scared me.

Every one else that I loved died. I can't die. I don't want to have to watch the ones I am with now die but I even more so don't want to see yuri die.

When I saw Shin-ah getting close with Yuri I began to feel jealous.

So I pulled her away.

"Miss Yuri Zeno thinks you should stay." I smiled childishly at her.

" I really don't want to stay here with you all." She argued glaring up at me.

"Why not!" I pouted "we are friends right?"

I felt my insides pinch up as she looked down after my question

"I don't want to get attached to any one ever again. So no we are not friends"

Before I could ask her what she ment by that Yona interrupted.

"We decided Yuri will stay with us." Yona turned towards Yuri

"I sorry Yuri but Hak doesn't trust you."

Now Hak spoke up " if you try to run off I will catch you."

I looked at Yuri's face only to see that she looked almost... scared.

I honestly don't like this chapter either. I never really realized how difficult it is to write down what you are thinking about and actually make it to your liking. I Dunno tho maybe I just need more practice :/ anyways hope you enjoyed see ya!
