12 - Potatoes

"We can make camp here for the night." Yun announced.

I sighed in relief. The moment I had woken up I was rushed to eat and then everyone packed up the campsite and started walking.

I kind of just followed because I didn't know where we were going (when they all discussed it I was day dreaming about the meadow Zeno took me to yesterday.)

Now let me just say I hate exercise. Walking, running, lifting stuff, and/or putting any physical effort into any thing is horrible.

So while everyone was unpacking and setting up the camp site, I was laying on the ground half dead.

(Not literaly because you know, the lightning incident...눈_눈)

"Hey Yuri, instead of laying there uselessly help me peel these potatoes for dinner. Hak is going to start the fire soon."

I thought back to yesterday. I was right in thinking that I wont be able to control getting attached to them.

So since I'm going to either way, I might as well do it properly.

Yun took my silence as a no. Seeing as I have been with them for a while and never once helped, Yun just sighed and turned away.

I got up and walked over to him, his back was facing me.

"Hak, and Yona need to go get fire wood when you get back I want Hak to start the fire. Kija and Shin-ah I want you two to see if you can't find any meat for us to eat. Jea-ah and Zeno you two stay here and set up mine and Yonas tent."

Everyone nodded and went off to do as "Mother" had told them while I stood behind Yun.

"Um Yun, I'm here."

Yum whipped around surprised.

"Geez, Yuri don't sneek up on me!" Yun scolded.

"Sorry, I um... am here to help peel potatoes."

"Oh okay, here" Yun handed me an knife and scooted the pile of potatoes to where I could reach.

"You know what to do right." Yun asked me.

"Yeah I've ...um... Helped my mom do this." I swallowed. I haven't spoken about my parents since they died.

Thankfully Yun didn't ask about it.

We sat there for a while in silence, which was not why I was here. I was here to connect with him!

I figured he would led us into a conversation but no we just sat there.

But I was on a mission to at least make the pain that was destined to come worth it.

"So um.... How was your day." I asked, not used to speaking to the pretty boy.

"It was just like yours." He replied not looking up from his potato peeling.

"Oh.... that's nice." I tried for a smile.

Just as I decided to give up my hand sliped and I accidentally cut my hand.

Thankfully Yun was still paying full attention to his potatoes.

I grimaced in pain as blood slowly came out of the cut. It was rather long but it wasnt deep so it didn't bleed to much.

I wait for my "powers" to heal it then I whipped of the blood on my clothes.

Thankfully Yun didn't see that I thought... Completly unaware of the person who DID see.

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~Booom! I did another chaaaapteeeerrr! I am just solo cool huh. I kind of feel like this chapter is boring but I will hopefully make up for in the next chapter
