13 - Her Secret

Zeno's POV:

I had just finished setting up Yona and Yun's tent. Jea-ah left to see if any of the others wanted or needed his help.

I decided to go to where Yun and Yuri were peeling potatoes.

When I got there though neither of them were talking.

Right as I was about to say something, Yuri's knife slipped.

I watched surprised as the knife sliced open her hand.

I watched, confused, as Yuri simply looked at the cut.

I felt like I should say something, to make sure she was okay, but something was holding me back from doing so.

After a while, Yuri simply whipped the blood off on her clothes.

And what surprised me the most was when she went back to peeling the potatoes, the cut was.... gone.

Yuri's POV:

I right after I finished the potato I had when I cut my self Yun told me that we had enough and I could stop.

He also said I can do whatever now cause he doesn't need me and the others should be back soon.

I stood up and looked around. When I looked behind me I saw Zeno.

He had a... Weird look on his face.

....WAIT! DID HE SEE WHAT HAPPENED WITH THE KNIFE SLIPPING AND CUTTING ME!

Okay, calm down I'm jumping to conclusions.

What if he didn't see and I act strange? I'll play it cool for now... I got this.

"Heeeey Zeno." I smiled awkwardly.

He just stared at me. I glanced behind me to find Yun literally nowhere in sight.

I took a breath, about to ask him if he was okay, when Zeno simply grabbed my hand and started walking.

"H-Hey Zeno where are we going?"

What is up with this guy, constantly dragging me places.

"Zeno please at least tell me where were going."

"Were... Were going somewhere private." Hey replied unevenly. I couldn't see his face, he had his head down and his back to me.

After a while of walking Zeno stopped. He turned to me and grabbed my hand, the EXACT one I cut.

He ran his thumb over the EXACT place I had sliced open.

NONONONONOOOO! HOW DO I EXPLAIN THIS!

"How, I saw you cut yourself here yet, there isn't a single mark."

"Hehe.... Wow Zeno your not talking in third person!" I tried, avoiding what he just said.

"I have to know how, how did it heal like that. I've only known one other person to heal like that. Is there anything else about you that's...different?"

"I-I don't want to talk about it." I looked down, trying not to remember my parents.

"Yuri, I have to know." I looked up, only to find him in tears.

"Zeno, why are you crying."
Shouldn't the person crying be me!? What cause Zeno to cry!?

"Please Yuri... Please tell me."

He looked broke, and for some unexplainable reason it hurt me to see him like this.

".......Fine Zeno, I'll tell you my secret."
