"Which photo do you think I should post?" Garrett asks as he scrolls through his phone while leaning against the fridge late in the evening.
"I think they're all cute." Andrew replies and gives his boyfriend a quick peck on the cheek. Then he returns to the pot of pasta on the stove and turns the temperature down to stop the water from spilling everywhere.
"Do you think I should add a filter?" Garrett questions.
"I think it looks perfect already, besides it's the caption you need to be thinking about." Andrew responds and then pours the pasta into two separate bowls.
"Oh I already know what I'm going to say for that. I am going to keep it short, but sweet." Garrett takes one of the bowls from Andrew as the two of them head into the living room. "Thanks for making this by the way because you know I can't cook."
"Garrett...it's literally one of the easiest things to make."
"Oh sorry not everyone can be Gordon Ramsey okay." He proclaims and settles down on the couch as Andrew sits next to him.
"There. I've done it." Garrett admits after a couple of minutes of comfortable silence.
"Done what?" Andrew asks, but then his question is answered when he receives an Instagram notification.
"THAT'S WHAT YOU CHOSE!" Andrew laughs while looking at Garrett's Instagram post which is a photo of him and Garrett kissing with the caption, "I love him more than breakfast burritos."
"It's true!" Garrett says as he starts to eat the food in front of him and Andrew punches his arm playfully. "What are the fans saying?"
"They are all really positive. Although the top comment with the most likes just says "Shyland are found dead." Andrew chuckles as he continues down the comment section. "Oh..."
"What is it?" Garrett asks out of curiosity.
"Some of the fans are saying that I should be dating Morgan and not you." Andrew sighs and throws the phone on the floor in annoyance.
Garrett immediately moves to retrieve the phone and places it back in Andrew's lap. "Don't let it get to you. There will always be people who are going to disagree with our relationship."
Andrew reaches for one of Garrett's hands and gently caresses the back of it with his thumb. "I don't care if people say bad things about me, but I don't enjoy people saying bad things about you. I don't want to be with Morgan and I wish the fans would respect that."
"If I'm being honest...sometimes I don't understand why you're with me. I mean I get why the fans would prefer to see you with Morgan as you're both a 10 and I'm a 5 on a good day. I'm messy, I wear the same shirt for weeks, I-"
Andrew quickly puts his bowl of pasta down to the side and cuts Garrett off as he leans towards him and kisses him passionately. Andrew finds himself running his hands through Garrett's hair as he gradually climbs onto his boyfriend's lap.
"I am so in love with you and I will spend every day of my life making you feel special because you are incredibly special to me. I don't want anyone else." Andrew expresses as he breaks away from Garrett.
"I want to take you out on a date." Andrew adds as he snuggles into Garrett's chest.
"Hey! I've still got my pasta so be careful." Garrett giggles and tries to continue to eat with Andrew wrapped around him.
"So...about the date?" Andrew continues. "I want to take you out somewhere nice where it's just the two of us. No cameras. No Shane. No fans. Just me and you."
"Really? You want to take me on a date? A real date?" Garrett questions.
"Yeah...I mean we haven't really had the chance to do that yet. I want to treat you." Andrew says as he tries to find a relaxed position on top of Garrett, but accidently knocks Garrett's arm in the process which causes the pasta to spill all over them.
"Andrew!" Garrett shouts and the two of them jump up straight away as the pasta is still slightly hot.
"Sorry. I was trying to be cute." Andrew whispers as he blushes from embarrassment.
Garrett walks over to him and envelopes him in a hug. "You are cute." He tells him and places a kiss on the top of his head.
Meanwhile at Shane's house, Morgan is writing notes down on a piece of paper as she is trying to come up with ideas for her next video, but then she gets an idea.
"SHANE!" She shouts and the man appears from around the corner with a can of diet root beer in his hand.
"Yes sis, you called." He replies while attempting to wipe away a stain on his shirt.
"Do you think you could set me up on a blind date?"
-------- Author's Note ---------
Okay first of all I just want to apologise for the lack of updates...I feel like Garrett when he doesn't post a video for months, but I promise I'll try to post more regularly.
I was going to wait until the end of the week to post a new chapter, but you guys have waited long enough. Thank you for staying with me and for still supporting this story. I love you all and I hope this chapter was good enough because sometimes it's hard to get back into writing.
