I want what is yours

"Thank you for being here today and I'll send you the money later this week." Shane tells the cameraman.

"Thanks bro, see you soon." The man says his final words and bids the group goodnight as he leaves the building.

"We need to talk about what just happened." Ryland tells them.

"Andrew obviously just got tired and wanted to go home." Garrett says and Ryland lets out a groan of frustration.

"Listen Garrett, that is obviously not what it was. He was clearly upset about what you said." Ryland says, but Garrett just won't accept what he's telling him.

"Why would he be upset by what I said?" Garrett asks, but Ryland ignores him and walks to the fridge to grab a drink.

"You seriously cannot be this stupid." Shane says.

"I think we need to leave Garrett alone and you don't have to insult him, Shane." Morgan jumps back into the conversation.

"He needs to know." Shane carries on.

"Know what? Maybe you're wrong. You and Ryland need to stop talking about this. I will talk with Garrett on my own." Morgan says as she grabs Garrett's hand and drags him outside into the front garden.

Once they're outside, Garrett seems to relax slightly.

"I'm sorry about the other two as they were practically interrogating you in there and it's not going to fix the situation. Do you want to talk to me about it? You don't have to tell me anything, but I think it would really help." Morgan says calmly as she doesn't want to scare him off.

"We kissed." Garrett tells her after a couple of minutes.

"I know... because I was there."

"No, not that one. We kissed earlier when we were both upstairs in the bathroom." Garrett turns away as he's slightly embarrassed.

"Why? Why would you kiss each other in the bathroom?"

"We wanted to practise kissing before we did it in front of the camera, to make it seem more realistic. Those two kisses were the best kisses I have ever had in my life! The way he felt pressed against my body, his lips on mine, his hands tangled in my hair. The sad part of it all is that they didn't mean anything...not for Andrew anyway..."

Garrett walks towards a patch of grass and sits down on it with his head in his hands while letting out a quiet sob. Morgan approaches and joins him on the ground as she lets her friend cry for a while, but she places her hand on his shoulder to let him know that she's there.

This gives her time to think to herself, even though that's probably not a good idea. The thing is, she has always had a problem with dating, as the men she always gets with turn out to be gay. Maybe she's just attracted to gay men or maybe it's just bad luck.
She can't help but laugh to herself because she realises that the same thing has happened again.

A couple of weeks ago she finally admitted to herself that she was in love with Andrew and for a while she really thought she had a chance with him, but this has just ruined everything. She knows what she saw today. Andrew is madly in love with Garrett and anyone can see it, well, maybe besides Garrett.

She knows that it's wrong to want what she can never have, but a girl can dream. She should be a good friend, but there's a part of her that wants to keep Andrew to herself. She hates that she's even thinking that, but before she can stop herself, these words fall out of her mouth.
