Piper's P.O.V
We continued watching American Horror story until the power went out due to the storm.
"FABULOUS" Iris yelled, curling into a ball on the couch. I turned on the flash light on my Ipod and went to the garage to look for candles.
"Reese, come with me" I told her, and she groaned but used her phone as light, following me to the garage.
"Look for candles or something" I told her, and she looked in drawers and shelves.
A moment later, and heard a thud then Iris scream, making me scream as well, then I heard Ashton laugh.
"God Damnit, Ashton!" Iris sighed, and I shined the light towards them, and Ashton as behind Iris.
"What happened?" I chuckled.
"Ashton snuck up behind me" Iris mumbled, pouting. I laughed and continued to look for candles. Once I finally found the bag of little candles, I grabbed the lighter next to it along with the bag and walked out to the living room.
Iris helped me light them along the table and along the windowsill, then we sat back down.
"So what do you guys wanna do?" I asked them, and they all shrugged.
"Have any board games?" Ashton asked, and Iris nodded. She motioned him to follow her upstairs, and they both did.
Iris' P.O.V
Ashton followed me down the dark hall way into the library.
"You guys have a library??" He chuckled as he looked around the room using his flashlight on his phone.
"Of course we do, we're book worms" I chuckled, looking in the closet. "Found the games!"
I pulled down several board games; Monopoly, Sorry, Clue, and Dont Break the Ice. Yeah I have a lot of older board games.
"I thought I had a lot more, but i guess not" I shrugged and picked two of them up, and Ashton took the other two.
"Which do ya wanna play first?" I asked as I sat them down on the coffee table.
"I dunno, Monopoly? And I found your lantern thingy" Piper said, and she handed the lantern to me. I turned it on, making the room so much brighter.
"Sure, we can play Monopoly" Luke sat on the floor and looked at the box, and looked confused. Probably because I had the World of Warcraft edition of monopoly.
"What's.. 'World Of Warcraft'?" Calum asked, and I gasped, making Piper chuckle.
"ITS THE BEST GAME IN THE WORLD" I yelled, making them laugh.
"Okay, okay. Let's play" Ashton chuckled, and he put the board out and gave us our pieces, and I was the banker so I gave every one their money.
we played one game for what feels like hours until Luke.
"WOOOOH. Im RICH bitcheess!" He threw his monopoly money into the air and started wiggling in his seat on the floor, making us laugh.
"You have to pick that up, Lucas" I raised an eye brow at him and he glared at me.
"Dont call me Lucas, Christina" He said in return, and I gasped.
"PIPER YOU HAD TO TELL THEM MY MIDDLE NAME" I yelled, making Piper jump.
"Why don't yo like your middle name? I think its cute" Ashton shrugged and had a shy smile, making me blush.
"Shut up... It's not cute!" I pouted, making them laugh. Luke started gathering the monopoly money that was on the floor and put it with the rest of the money.
".............. IM BORED" Michael suddenly yelled, breaking the silence.
"Fuck, Mikey! Dont do that" Piper yelled her chest and Michael shrugged.
"But I aaamm" Michael pouted and put his head on Piper's shoulder, making her blush a little.
"We all are, Mikey" Calum laid on the floor, making me laugh.
"Well sorry Norfolk storms a lot" I gave them a funny look, making them laugh.
"Iris do something! I'm dying" Piper pouted, and I rolled my eyes.
"Then sleep! Im surprised you didnt think of that already" I chuckled, and she looked at me wide eyed.
"Im surprised too! Imma go take a nap." She started running upstairs, and Michael smiled to himself.
"Imma join her" He got up from the couch and to the stairs.
"But you just woke up from a nap earlier, right?" I asked him, confused, but he just shrugged, walking up stairs.
Piper's P.O.V
I walked into my dark room and tried to flick on the lights, then I remembered the power was out and felt like an idiot.
I pouted to myself and felt my way to my bed, but ending up tripping over my DCs and hit my knee on the frame of my bed.
"Fuck, Ouch...." I whispered to my self, and I heard a chuckling behind me and walking around. For some reason I started to freak out and pounced onto my bed.
"Mikey?" I squinted to try to see through the darkness, sadly not succeeding.
"Yeah, It's me" I chuckled, and I could imagine him smiling.
"What are you doing in here?" I asked, feeling my way under the covers.
"I thought I could keep you company" I felt him lay next to me, and I felt confused.
"I thought you took a nap while I was out?" I asked him, and he nodded.
"I did, I didn't say I was tired. I just wanna stay here with you" I could see the outline of his grin, and it made me smile.
"Okay that's fine" I tried to sound smooth, but my inner fangirl was hyperventilating.
He got under the covers with me and I snuggled up to his chest, feeling the warmth radiating from him. He wrapped his arms loosely around my waist and set his chin on top of my head.
"So.. do you actually like me?" He suddenly asked me, and I felt my cheeks heat up.
"Of course, why?" I replied, and I felt him shrug.
"Just... a girl as beautiful as you wouldnt normally like a guy like me" He thought aloud, and I looked up at him.
"Shut up, Mikey. I've liked you for a while now, before I even met you"
"You probably wouldn't give me a second glance if I wasnt in the band"
"Not true! I would probably be drooling in your presence. What makes you think I wouldnt like you?"
"I'm not exactly the best looking guy"
"To me, you are the best looking guy ever. I couldn't ask for anything better than you" I nuzzled my head back into his chest and smiled, and I could feel his muscles relax.
I felt like this moment was overly perfect.
