Iris' P.O.V
"Where did Luke go?" I asked them, and they shrugged.
"He just... left" Calum said, and I furrowed my eye brows.
"Why?" I asked him, and he shook his head.
"No Idea. I'll go check on him" He said, but I stopped him.
"No, I'll check on him." I said and ran out the room, just in time to see Luke go through a door that led outside. I ran to the door and went through, seeing him leaning up the damp brick wall.
"Luke?" I said quietly, but he didn't look up. He just kept his eyes down at his feet.
"Lukey, what's wrong?" I walked up to him, and he just bit his lip.
"Why did you storm out like that?" I asked again, and he shook his head and looked the other way. I sighed.
"C'mon, Luke, tell me" I put my hand on his shoulder and he looked at my hand, then at me.
"I can't.." He choked, and I furrowed my eyebrows.
"What do you mean you can't? I'm your friend, right? You can tell me anything" I smiled, and he looked back down the the wet concrete. "Lucas, look at me." He looked back up at me sadly. making he sigh.
"Why are you being like this? You've never stormed out like that." I leaned against the wall next to him and looked at him. He looked like we was trying to form the words to say, or like he was afraid to tell me. I sighed, giving up.
"At least come back inside. It's about to rain again" I mumbled, and he looked out at the street, then nodded. Like on que, it started to down pour. I grabbed his hand, taking him by surprise, and pulled him back inside.
I chuckled to myself, running my fingers through my damp hair, then looked down at my hand. Luke was still holding tightly onto my hand.
I awkwardly cleared my throat, and he let go of my hand, his face going red. Just then, the guys, followed by Piper, walked down the hall.
"Hey, what happened?" Calum asked, and Luke shrugged.
"I just needed some fresh air, that's all" Luke replied, but I know it was something more. What didn't he want to tell me what was wrong? Can he not trust me? What if he likes me?
No, Iris Christine Fletcher that's stupid. Why would Luke Hemmings like me? I'm still trying to understand why Ashton likes me, let alone loves me. The thought of Luke liking me is outrageous, I'm stupid for thinking of it.
"Iris?" Ashton said, breaking me from my thoughts.
"What?"
"You okay? You just zoned out" He chuckled, and so did I. Everyone else was already ahead of us, walking back to the room we came from. "We were just about to head back home"
"Oh okay, sorry." I chuckled, feeling my cheeks heat up. Ashton smiled down at me, taking my hander into his larger one.
"Are you sure you're okay?" He asked, and I smiled and nodded.
"Of course, I'm just a little tired." I said, and he nodded. We started walking back to the room.

"But Reeeeese!!" Piper groaned as I loaded up Call of Duty on the Xbox.
"Yes, Green Bean" I sighed, sitting criss cross on the couch.
"I wanna play fifa!" She pouted, laying down next to me.
"You've been playing Fifa since we got home! You beat Michael three times" I gave her a look, and she giggled. The boys went home about thirty minutes ago, about three hours after we got home.
Michael ate a whole pizza, by the way. He eats so much, but it doesn't show on him.
"Plus, I haven't been able to Advanced Warfare yet because of you guys. It was sixty dollars, I would like to play it." I chuckled. When the screen loaded up, I grinned to myself. I've always been a big nerd when it came to Call if Duty, I have all of them. A few days before we met Michael and Ashton I camped outside of Game Stop for three hours to get the newest one.
"Fine." She huffed, watching me as I started playing.
Piper's P.O.V
"DAMN IT!! IM OUT OF AMMO" Iris yelled, waking me from my nap. I swear, I just had a heart attack.
"WHAT THE FUCK, REESE?!" I looked at her, and she gave me an innocent look.
" Oh, hey Green Bean" She said, continuing to play her game quietly.
"You're crazy, you know?" I chuckled, and she rolled her neck.
"Duh"
"What time is it?" I asked her, and she shrugged, her eyes glued to the Tv. I looked at my phone, and it read 2:30 in the morning.
"Damn, it's 2:30" I mumbled, and Iris' eyes went wide for a moment, then she shrugged.
"Maybe we should go to bed" I got up, and she shook her head no.
"Can't. Must beat this chapter" She mumbled, and I shrugged.
"Suit yourself" I walked up to my room and laid in the dark in my bed.
Oh yeah, there was something I neglected to tell you. I don't live with Iris, I'm just staying with her because my mom is on a business trip, but I can't remember when she's supposed to get home...
Oh well, I'll have to call her tomorrow.
