Savannah choose a nice hotel in Times Square. I couldn't care less where we stayed, but the constant traffic outside was a bit annoying.

I can hear the water running from inside the bathroom. Savannah insisted we go out for "a night on the town" as soon as we settled in.

A night on the town? Why does she have to be so damn cheesy?

I stand with my arms crossed by the window that overlooks the city. People bustle up and down the crowded sidewalks as cars sit in traffic. Above them, electronic billboards light up with the newest chick flicks, sports events, and otherwise random advertisements. A variety of shops, restaurants, and theaters line the pavement and I can't help but think to snap a picture for our project.

   Silly girl.

Savannah's voice echoes through the room. I've grown used to her shower singing, but I don't think I could ever get over what she's singing now. I walk to the bathroom's door and press my ear against the wood.

"La la la la. La la la la. Elmo's world."

I knit my brows together and press my ear harder to the door.

"La la la la. La la la la. Elmo's world!"

A laugh escapes my lips as I listen further.

"Elmo loves his goldfish! His crayon too!" Her voice is playful and childish. I can imagine her dancing around the shower, using the bar of soap as a microphone.

   "Thaaaat's Elmo's world!"

Her finale doesn't disappoint. I lean away from the door and shake my head. I saunter back into the room and find a place to sit at the foot of the bed.

Savannah decided to get a single room because she didn't think two beds were necessary. Her sleeping alone made her uncomfortable and I wasn't going to deny her request. I slept in the same bed as Adria for the majority of my life. Sharing a bed was second nature.

I hear Savannah turn the water off and peel back the shower curtains. I sigh and begin to let my thoughts drift to what the future holds. Today we go out and have fun in the city. We live one of our last days in normalcy. Tomorrow we nervously go over our plan a million times until it seems absolutely perfect. I can't imagine how the next day will go. I'll leave that thought for late at night.

Savannah steps out of the bathroom, steam following behind her. She hugs a white towel to her body, letting water drip from her hair onto her shoulders.

   "All yours."

I smirk, "I think Elmo would be impressed."

Her cheeks flash crimson, "I- you heard that?"

"Have you ever considered voice acting? I'm sure the rest of Sesame Street would love to have you." I tease.

"No, I haven't. Maybe I should go into voice acting." She states, resting her free hand on her hip.

"Look, I know a guy. What do you say I make your wildest dreams come true?" I wink and I'm met with Savannah's grin.
